Absolutely nothing beats the feeling of excitement that bubbles into your system when you get your tickets scanned while hearing a mass of music blasting out in the distance. Come rain or shine, with the occasional unpredictable winds, festivals are possibly one of the best places to be. With a huge range that dives into genres such as EDM, Trance, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and more, featuring some of the most perfect lineups you could ever imagine.
However, right now we're in the mood for a bit of house and techno and therefore have made a heavy list of all the best house and techno festivals in the UK. From Scotland to London, we'll have you up and down the country like 10,000 men. First, we’re starting with the heavyweight champion of house and techno festivals: Creamfields. Every year without fail, the festival manages to bring in a huge crowd of 70,000 people who can’t resist the blasting sounds of house and techno brought by some of the best artists both locally and internationally. And to make things extra special, Creamfields is celebrating 20 years at their site in Daresbury.
Last year, Creamfields hit the nail on the head with a stellar lineup featuring Fatboy Slim, Four Tet, Franky Rizardo, Azyr, Marco Carola, Arielle Free, Eats Everything and so many more. Returning to their beloved grounds of Daresbury in Cheshire, Creamfields is set to add even more excitement for 2026. NEXUP – the label and party series headed up by Max Dean – will make its debut at the festival this year. The Teletech stage will make a return, while KETTAMA will make his debut at the iconic Steel Yard in 2026.
Welcoming devoted fans for yet another year, we don't doubt that Creamfields 2026 will be a smash.

How long have we got because we could talk about Parklife for hours. Known as a northern phenomenon, Parklife is one of Manchester's best multi-genre festivals. It has everything you could ever ask for from a festival with high-level production, incredible lineups, and when the weather wants to be on its best behaviour, one of the biggest parks in Manchester offers you some pretty decent landscape.
Across two days Parklife splits up a well-curated list of the best names in the charts to bring you all the best vibes imaginable, and this year, their 2026 lineup is no different. Coming to their stages this year are no other than Calvin Harris, KETTAMA, Prospa, Azyr, blk., Morgan Seatree, Mall Grab, East End Dubs, Luuk Van Dijk, Marlon Hoffstadt, Chris Stussy, Josh Baker and L.P. Rhythm, with loads more in store. Plus, with 9 stages and loads of non-music attractions, this is not a festival you'll want to miss.

Keep the 19th and 20th free this year because Terminal V returns with another edition of the best Scottish electronic festival to ever grace the earth. Rounding up 100+ acts across 2 days, you will be a part of the 20,000+ people per day who can't get enough of that tasty electronic sound, with a heavy focus on techno and more. We reckon this one's going to be special, as Terminal V recently announced that it'll be their last ever edition at Edinburgh's Royal Highland Centre.
With 6 stages this year for you to witness a lineup like no other, expect to have an unforgettable weekend. Each area is set to be completely reimagined, with a bespoke site-wide sound redesign from d&b audiotechnik. Plus, Terminal V has both indoor and outdoor stages, meaning that even if the Highland weather isn’t on point, you can still keep surging well into the night at one of the best UK techno festivals.

If you're an avid Boomtown fan like us, then you'd know it's sometimes hard to predict what whacky and wonderful idea the festival will come up with next, but if you're also like us and impatient because you know without a doubt it'll always exceed your expectations then look no further. This year Boomtown raises the bar with Chapter Five: Radical Redesign, keeping the ethos of ‘Bang Goes Normal’ from last year.
A music festival unlike you've ever seen before Boomtown creates its own world with uniquely themed districts, 12 main stages that feature mind-blowing production, 50 hidden venues, and thousands of performers across 5 days. Heading down a smaller techno festival route we've got MiNT Festival which always brings a massive crowd to Leeds during the May Bank holiday. Known for its early start in the festival season, Mint Festival is a great way to start your summer if you're looking for endless high-energy UK house festivals.
Since 2024, they have lowered the number of stages to 6, which to us means more intimate vibes with some of your faves and less chance of getting lost (a win). But if you're not convinced MiNT Festival never fails to bring a jam-packed lineup and this year is no different with Max Dean, Sidney Charles, Luke Dean, Gaskin, Shanti Celeste, Soul Mass Transit System and Luuk Van Dijk on the mark.
It’s no surprise that MiNT Festival is listed as Yorkshire's best dance festival, and you’ll be able to see why when you secure your tickets, so you can witness brilliant vibes with an even better atmosphere.

Emerge Festival returns to Belfast for another stand-out year. After last year absolutely rocked Ireland they're heading back to Boucher Road Fields to bring you a weekend to remember. Bringing in massive lineups including titans of house and techno this year they're ready to have you absolutely busy this Bank Holiday.
But it doesn't end there, hard techno giants blk. and Restricted will go B2B, while Hannah Laing will bring DOOF to the festival with a whole host of names in tow.
Only a 12-minute drive from Belfast City Centre and roughly a half hour from the airport, Emerge is easy to get to, has a smashing lineup, and will no doubt be the city’s biggest party this year. Get us over there!

Ewan McVicar’s Pavilion returns to the DJ's hometown of Ayr for its third edition of the up-and-coming techno festival. After another smash in 2025, the festival is aiming for even bigger and better things in 2026. After last year saw the likes of Ben Hemsley, DJ Seinfeld, Sally C, Annie Mac, Robert Hood, Ogazón and Harri & Domenic, there is no doubt that this year's lineup is bound to pop off just as hard.

Land Beyond returns this year but with a twist: a one-day festival that goes back to its roots, taking place where it all began at East Brighton Park. The festival may only be happening across one day this year, but the vibes are high. House heads can expect to see the likes of Shanti Celeste, East End Dubs, Enzo Siragusa and Gaskin alongside a host of other DJs on the bill.

We all remember Butlins, don’t we? Why not relive all the fun, but instead of the buzz and lights of the arcade, it’s the sweet, sweet sound of house and techno. Southport Weekender is back at Butlins Bognor Regis for another year, a festival which they call ‘the world’s friendliest party’. Here, you’ll find a great set of people and probably make friends for life, as the festival attracts repeat attendees, music lovers and dancers year after year. The lineups are always great, too. Last year saw performances from Laurent Garnier, DJ Deep, Move D, Kerri Chandler and more. And as for this year? Kenny Dope, Louie Vega, Luke Una, Jeremy Underground, Ella Knight, Theo Parrish are set to bring the vibes to Bognor Regis.

The day event is a relatively new addition to the festival scene, debuting in 2025, and like all great, growing festivals, 2026’s edition promises to be bigger and brighter for its second year. There’s some serious house royalty on the lineup. DJ Paulette, Todd Terry, Fat Tony and Norman Jay will all grace the decks, and that’s without mentioning a DJ set from the legends that are Groove Armada. When you need a break from dancing, sample some of the gourmet food on offer at the festival. Or, just marvel at the sounds and sights. We definitely would.
