It seems that a talent for electronic music runs in the Dean family. London-born and raised Luke Dean has followed in the footsteps of cousin Max, but that doesn’t mean he’s a carbon copy.

We’d say 2023’s ‘Get Hard (You In The Lobby) proves that. A breakout tune for Luke Dean, its funky bassline and nostalgic samples caught the imagination of ravers across the world, with the track riding to the top of the Beatport charts, amassing millions of streams and solidifying Dean as one to watch.

And since then? He’s gone from strength to strength. Nowadays, a lineup without Luke Dean’s name on it feels strange, and he’s brought his infectious house sound to Amnesia, Drumsheds, Blackstone Street Warehouse, Coachella and more.

Much like his rhythm-first approach to production, Dean’s DJ sets are full of groove, personality and fun. You won’t find many people frowning after listening to him take the reins for a couple of hours.
