A relatively new addition to Manchester’s bustling music scene, YES opened its doors in 2018 and has since gained a cracking reputation with music-loving Mancs.
The Pink Room is the main space for live music, creating a cosy, intimate atmosphere with a 250 people capacity. As you might have guessed, the entire room is coated in baby pink. YES events in the Pink Room typically feature established artists with a bright future spanning a range of genres, including indie, rock, hip hop, techno, disco, soul, jazz, house, and beyond. You’ll also find club nights, including alternative dance nights, Northern soul nights, and disco parties, to name a few.
The other room for music is the Basement which is… in the basement. With a capacity of 60, events here can get a bit sweaty while feeling exclusive and intimate. This is where you’ll find the hottest new artists.
Close to public transport links and in the centre of the action, getting to and from YES is a breeze. And with a rooftop bar and gorgeous pizzas with delicious, whacky toppings, it’s a great idea to head down early to enjoy the atmosphere and warm up before an event.
