We’ve had some half-decent weather recently, and with that comes the urge, the need, to get some fun booked into our schedule. It’s not long now until we're sat in beer gardens, off to the next festival, and then eventually complaining it’s too hot.
To help you fill your summer with thrills, we’ve got some absolutely delicious new events this week including 2024 festivals (don't mind if we do!), a truly mind-blowing comedy festival, open-air raves courtesy of Levels and Cream, Ibiza events, and more.

Closeup Comedy presents: Comedy at the Castle
When: Thursday 14th, Friday 15th, and Saturday 16th June 2023
Where: Warwick Castle in Warwick
Closeup Comedy is bringing a three-day open-air comedy festival to Warwick Castle with some of the funniest and most legendary comics.
With the funniest people on the planet, award-winning street food, craft beers, cocktails, slushies, and more, it will be unreal. And we haven’t even looked at the comics yet. So let's look at some of the names performing…
The comedians headlining each night are Shappi Khorsandi, Dylan Moran, and Milton Jones. For more info about this event including the absolutely gorgeous lineup, click or tap here. There’s also Rhys James, Rob Brydon, Zoe Lyons, Troy Hawke, and so many others over the weekend.

Mama Roux’s is bringing vocal house and disco tunes with sublime artistry to Eden with its thirteen-week residency.
Mama Roux’s does things differently. This residency is all about freedom, expression and unity. Taking Ibiza residencies to new levels, Mama Roux's honours the island's past, bringing back that pure hedonism and jaw-droppingly wild performances that got the party island its reputation.
At their parties, alongside stunning tunes that will have an extra kick from live singers, percussionists and horn players, there’ll be fire performers, drag artists, and so much more.
Mama Roux’s blew up as an award-winning drag and burlesque cabaret show. The entire event was based on said show. And that’s why you’ll find nothing else like it in Ibiza this year.

Where: Carriage Shed in Chester
The huge Cream brand (yep, that’s the one that does Creamfields) is bringing a huge acid house open-air all-dayer to Chester with some Hacienda legends.
The Grade-II listed Carriage Shed is going off this July with some much-loved legends soundtracking it all including the Hacienda’s K-Klass and Graeme Park. And veteran DJs Seb Fontaine, Lottie, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Jae Homes, and Darren Donnelly will join.
The Carriage Shed is really starting to heat up, putting some killer events in its calendar including Ewan McVicar and Ibiza Classics. It’s definitely a venue to watch for those who are just a short journey away!

Where: O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester
Raunchy American R&B singer Jacquees is linking up with rapper Fabolous for a special show at 02 Victoria Warehouse. Tickets on sale Friday 9th June at 10 am, sign up for tickets below!
The two have previously collaborated on My Mind, an old-school R&B instrumental with a silky hook and raw bars. Both artists with over 5 million monthly Spotify streams and undeniable chemistry, this special show will be electric.
Join 3,500 other R&B fans this August at Vic Warehouse to bring back the old-school vibes and see Jacquees’ smooth runs and Fabolous’ energy on one stage.

Where: LAB11 in Birmingham
Levels throw some serious raves and they’re bringing stomping house vibes to LAB11 this July with an open-air summer showcase.
Off the back of their most recent bash in late May with a crazy atmosphere, the team are back for another colossal open-air party at the legendary LAB11, an award-winning, independent warehouse rave venue, less than a ten-minute walk from Birmingham Moor Street train station.

Where: Brockwell Park in London
After just wrapping up its 2023 edition, London’s best dancehall, reggae, and afrobeat fest is back in May next year.
City Splash 2023 featured Chronixx, Koffee, Shenseea, Skillibeng, Nia Archives, General Levy, and many more huge names. So you can expect a similarly staked lineup for next year’s bash.
A celebration of Caribbean and African music, food, and culture, the fest brings London's best carnival vibes, African and Caribbean street food vendors, rum vendors, and locally brewed craft beer, stouts, and spirits to 20,000 music fans.

Another fest back after a scorching 2023, In It Together is easily one of the best festivals in Wales for those who enjoy a variety of sounds.
A family-friendly fest, 2023's lineup featured James, Anne-Marie, UB40, Chase & Status, The Vamps, The Kooks, Groove Armada, and more from drum and bass, house, indie, pop, and other genres across three days.
This year's event also featured fun for all ages including climbing walls, arts and crafts, an outdoor cinema, circus performers, and more.

FLY Open Air Festival - September Edition
When: Saturday 16th - Sunday 17th September 2023
Where: Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh
After yet another mind-blowing house and techno (with a splash of disco) summer festival, FLY Open Air is back with a September edition in 2023.
Not much has been revealed about the September party but it’s FLY… so it’s going to be unreal. Nestled between the Old and New Towns at Princess Street Gardens, there’ll be the stunning backdrop of Edinburgh Castle and plenty of lush greenery as the fest blasts bangers from some incredible artists.
The lineup hasn’t dropped yet but FLY never misses. To give you a taste of what to expect, the summer edition featured Ben Hemsley, Eliza Rose, Hannah Laing, Interplanetary Criminal, Job Jobse, Chaos in the CBD, Franck, testpress, and so many other artists to get crowds grooving.
