Detonate Festival information & FAQs
Skiddle guarantee that we have the lowest booking fees available for Detonate Festival tickets. We are an official primary ticket outlet and all tickets are processed and dispatched by Skiddle direct to you. All our tickets are sold at face value and originate directly from the event organiser.
How much are Detonate Festival tickets? Tickets are not yet on sale but you can be the first to know when tickets do go on sale by signing up to a reminder above.
What happens If I bought a ticket and cannot attend? Unfortunately we can’t issue you with a refund if you can’t make the event due to work commitments or your mates have dropped out. In these circumstances, we advise passing on your tickets privately to avoid losing out on the money spent. Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed, as agreed upon purchase.

Where is Detonate Festival?
Detonate Festival is located in Colwick Country Park, Nottingham which is around a 15 minute drive from Nottingham city centre. It takes about 20 minutes from the city centre by bus, metrolink or car. The postcode is NG2 4BE.
How do I get to Detonate Festival?
By Car - Public transport is recommended as there is limited car parking. There is also a car and taxi drop off point.
By Bus - Nottingham City Transport run regular buses via the 44 and 44a, both buses take you nearest to the festival site entrance.
By Taxi - There are plenty of local taxi firms in Nottingham. Collection and pick up will be available from the park and ride site near Nottingham Racecourse.
Does Detonate Festival have onsite camping?
No, Detonate Festival is a non camping festival so camping equipment is not needed. It is however close to the City Centre so there is plenty of alternative accommodation to choose from.
Does Detonate Festival have any age restrictions?
Yes you must be 18 or over to attend Detonate Festival. You may be asked to show photo ID.
Can I bring my own food and drink into Detonate Festival?
You are not allowed to bring your own food and drink into Detonate Festival. There will be a wide variety of food and drink stalls inside the festival, serving up organic, vegetarian and vegan options.

Travelling to/from the festival
If you are coming from the north – follow the A60 or A612 If you are coming from the south – follow the A60 and A453 If you are coming from the east or west – follow the A52
Once you reach Nottingham, follow the brown signs or yellow park & ride signs to the Racecourse.
The nearest bus routes from the city centre is the number 44, which departs from King Street, or the Link 2 (yellow Park & Ride) which stops on Parliament Street and Collins Street.
Nottingham Midland Station is very close to the city centre, and so only around two miles from the Racecourse. There is a taxi rank at the station and it will take you approximately 10-15 minutes to reach the Racecourse. For details of train times please click www.nationalrail.co.uk
