Ive rated the music this year as poor purely because i only went to see New Model Army who were amazing as usual. The other bands were not my choice of music but went down well with the crowd. Everything else about this festival is good and its so nice seeing fair beer prices rather than getting ripped off like you do elsewhere. Will probably go next year but it depends on the line up.

The split stages worked really well this year, there was very little sound overlap. The weather was fantastic, people friendly, stewards nice and smiley but oh dear the toilets! The organisers seem to think that people in campers/caravans don't need toilets. The camper field was full but there were only 3 ladies toilets and even less for the men! We don't all have portable toilets and even those who do, tend only to use them at night. They don't need to be flushing ones either - half the time they just didn't work. Thought that lesson would have been learned from last year. At least there were more toilets on the main field this year. It didn't spoil the event for me because it was such a great vibe, but please sort it out for next year. Don't want this review to be all about toilets so - Slade, Wishbone Ash, Barclay James Harvest, Pearl Handled Revolver, Jackie Lyndon band - all stand out performances for me.

The music was fine but I would have loved a few more up and coming acts.
The security for the camp site was severely lacking. Anyone could get onto the camp site via the car parking without being challenged (I was not checked going in or out of the site). Sign posting on surrounding country lanes was very poor.

Small, friendly festival in beautiful surroundings. Easy access to arenas. Pleasant campsite. The alternating between two stages meant we didn't have to miss anything. Would go again.

The music was on the whole excellent. There is always going to be one or two bands at any festival that you're not fussed about, but mostly a great line-up, excellent sound and the whole thing seemed to run very smoothly.
The venue is superb, a beautiful setting in the garden of England. A pretty good selection of food and craft stalls and just superb bars, run by friendly and enthusiastic staff AND at really reasonable prices!

Gripes: nothing major; festival toilets are always a bit tricky, and whilst there didn't seem to be any more this year they were certainly looked after a bit better. Also, there were none down in the valley / arena area which meant a fairly long hike up the hill every time you needed to go...
The only other thing, and I know many festivals have this, but having to drag all your camping gear from the car park to the camping area is pretty tedious particularly in 27 degree heat. (I should probably qualify this by pointing out that I am an "older" somewhat less than fit chap these days). The organizers did lay on a couple of buggy's with trailers for those of us who don't travel light which worked reasonably well, although there was a fair bit of waiting about until one was free on arrival. That said the guys driving them were friendly and patient despite being in high demand.

Overall I can safely say that I had a lovely weekend and was thoroughly entertained and pretty well looked after.

An amazing festival with brilliant acts in a beautiful setting with wonderful weather! (for a change on a Bank Holiday!) The prices were very reasonable and the people there extremely friendly, all in all a brillant family weekend. The only downside was they allowed dogs on site which, due to some irresponsible dog owners, meant there was dog mess in a few places.

A very friendly festival, I had a lovely time and really enjoyed Big Country, New Model Army and Slade. The toilets weren't too scary but better provision for showers would be good; one shower each for men and women meant a huge queue - and they were only open in the morning. All the volunteers were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely consider going again.

Toilets were poor both in the arena and in the campervan field. Usually had toilet paper but the generator in the campervan site failed on two consecutive mornings, putting the toilets out of order. Also on the first evening there was no water in the taps, so that you were left with hands smeared with foamy soap. Neither was the paper towel dispenser refilled, although sometimes there were small piles of paper towels left on the side. The portaloos in the arena were a mixed bunch. Some were OK and had soap and water (these days why don't all portaloos just use anti-bac gel or foam??!!). Others were utterly vile, with no trap door between the seat and the cess pit below. Puke-making - among the worst I've come across. Many of the soap dispensers were empty, as were the towel dispensers and a fair amount of time there was water in the pump.
Staff at the event were very nice - friendly and helpful. The music was not as good as last year - too many anthems and not enough rock n roll n bluesey stuff. Still very enjoyable, just not as 'Woohoo!!' as last year. The event should properly advertise that you can buy beer tent tokens, thus saving a lot of time queueing while bar staff sort out change. I only knew about it because a friend told me - even the bar staff member had to check with a colleague that it was 'legal tender'!
The gardens are just lovely and are a great venue. Also good timing between bands - very well run in that respect. For next year I really want to know that the toilets will have improved A LOT!

good Music. Camp facilities Poor , Tangerine Tent site to close to each other ,people kept us awake each morning until we had to shout at them at 1.30 am , so no sleep and very tired, toilets blocked so men where pissing near our tent late at night, signage to Festival poor as we missed Church hill on arrival and had to turn round near pub , what did you say no booze or food brought to music field it was everywhere? why was not Mount Ephraim not open we would loved to have visited on Sunday , as we shall never come to this festival again it was a shame we did not have this opportunity. Beanie

A really great festival! Stayed in my campervan with plenty of space around me and delightful neig*bours. I took my blue merle collie dog along and the venue and staff we're really dog friendly. My friends had their young children with them and their dog too and I'd rate this as the nicest festival experience I've ever had. Highly recommended.

Excellent organisation. Beautiful setting. Strong line up of known & not so well Known artists. Very good camping field close and easy to get to from car park. Plenty of toilets. Hot shower - £3. Wicked selection of Ales ( Late Red was delicious) at £3.50 a pint. Expect an older, respectful crowd into, and knowledgable of their Rock, Prog, and Blues music. Enjoy.
