Review of A New Day Festival 2017
Great acts great atmosphere. Many improvements on 2016 - some fell foul though! Improvements: Beer tent; stalls; bank card facilities. Unchanged: toilets - no paper for drying hands; lack of toilet paper; full cess tanks; uncleaned and smelly; broken in parts; no lights too dark to see in evening. Worse than 2016: poor access to smaller stage - access from main pathway to grounds now not open, so one way in and out narrow access causing bottle-necking and unable to see stage (some people stopped going to that stage as a result. Rating buttons below should include facilities and organisation. Positives: Marshalls sufficient and very friendly; great atmosphere again; good value.

Review of A New Day Festival 2017
Generally excellent, really nice surroundings so much nicer than a field! Unfortunately I was a little late arriving, M25 problems, and got the overflow camp site which was not level and after a while was stopped from entry to the venu by the nearest gate as it was for performers, I spoke to a few who seemed to appreciater a chat and "pat on the back" ., any way it was a bit of a walk to and from my camper, after being on ones feet all day. I was impressed how campers where squized in all around the orchard hopefuly most were flat enough.

Review of A New Day Festival 2017
Me and my wife really enjoyed the three days of fantastic music and atmosphere, nice locations. Not to mention the perfect weather. One minus: The toilets were the weak point due to lack of light in the evenings. But over all we are very glad that we had the opportunity to be there.

Another great festival just like the first one!
One complaint but I think it's a biggy. WHY NO SHOP? there was one last year. People have to be able to buy toilet paper, milk, bread, marg etc. Just basic things but awful if you run out mid festival.

Review of A New Day Festival 2017
The best festival around for the mature music lover. A combination of excellent old timers with a flush of new folk trying to make the grade. The environment is perfect if the weather is brilliant. The facilities are up to scratch with a motley crew of providers from local establishments and not too far away from the town of your choice if you need extras. A good local pub for grub and village for news and views. A marvelous choice of brews which last right to last moment, without the drunks. Hope the youngsters enjoyed it as much as the grey folk. Minor failures on the loo front but that's always the problem. Bring your own if you want a clean one. 8.5-9/ 10. Will go again so book your tickets in advance if you don't want all my friends to be there. Thanks

Review of A New Day Festival 2017
I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the festival. Wonderful music, fantastic weather, great people to talk to like I never have before that could speak the rock and roll language. Saw some bands I never have seen live before, including waiting for 43 years to see Barclay James Harvest live. Hearing Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash play the Argus album was a highlight as was experiencing a new band for me, I O Earth. I flew in from Seattle for the event and will never forget the wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful time last year and even better this! The musical highlights for us were The Martin Barre Band, Lindisfarne and Soft Machine. The only issue, as last year, was dogs...or rather dog owners...not keeping to the 'must be on a lead at all times' rule, and stewards unwilling to enforce that. Otherwise, marvellous...thank you. See you next year! ✌

Review of A New Day Festival 2017
Well organised, particularly the 'backstage' work to switch stages and keep to timetable. I liked the pragmatic decision to open up the arena toilets in the morning before the arena itself was open. the Gents urinal are should have been signposted though. I only found it by accident, and the fact I had it to myself most of the time suggests most people didn't know it was there. Surprised there was only one catering van on the campsite. A missed business orrportunity given the arena didn't open until early lunchtime. Good music and loopy people. can we have Hawkwind next year please?
