Review of Oktoberfest Comes to Chester!
Shocking, how do I get a refund please?
Group of 9 all dressed in lederhosen, was the most Oktoberfest this got!
1hr and 10 mins to queue for our first drink, a stein or carling or coors… the entertainment would have been quite fitting in a Blackpool bar
We made out own entertainment for 2 hours and left early, as soon as we were offered bingo tickets!
Throwing up some bunting for £14 a ticket, robbery!

Review of Oktoberfest Comes to Chester!
Dire... a 200 yard queue to buy a 2 pint stein of CARLING.... Very German.
Followed by some useless jokers in fancy dress miming to oompah music.
Left after one drink, as did many others.

Review of Oktoberfest Comes to Chester!
Not authentic, no German food or German beer on tap.
One bar so queuing was rediculos.
No 'performers' as promised only the band that played in total for 1hr and half for an event that was on for 4hrs!!
Decor was a bit of bunting, all mecca boards were visible. Basically paid for a ticket to sit in bingo hall for 4hrs with a bit of music!!
Have been to better!

Review of Oktoberfest Comes to Chester!
What a shambles. Minimum effort. Bunting, table clothes .. an okay ish act... and an hour to get a beer. Which turned out to be carling, coors, cider or worthingtons. Did someone miss the memo ! Oktoberfest. German event ?
Only for the fact that we were in a group who had dressed for the occasion and made it the best we could, I would have left sooner.
As it was we left before the Bingo started !!!
You should offer full refunds....false advertising.

Review of Oktoberfest Comes to Chester!
No oompa band, no wenches, no dancing on tables, the food was cheap hot dogs no bratwurst, the only beer was carling or coors lite no German beer and the queue for the bar was 90 minutes long. Complete waste of money we walked out and went elsewhere. Would never recommend. If I could leave zero stars I would

Review of Oktoberfest Comes to Chester!
No german beer, no german food- cheap tinned hotdogs, cheap decor, hour long queues for drinks, no genuine oompah band, tacky band, totally mis- sold from what was advertised! Bit of an insult to an actual german beer festival! Would appreciate a refund!

Review of Oktoberfest Comes to Chester!
Very disappointed! Arrived a party of 9 all dressed up! Queues for 45 mins for steins of coors or carling!! Bit of bunting and plastic table covers, minimal effort put in to whole event! Only seeing other people dressed up and looking dissatisfied too! Would like all our money back, we left early, proper let down.

Review of Oktoberfest Comes to Chester!
Quite possibly the worst event We’ve ever had the misfortune to go to.
An hour wait to be served only to find that we had paid for the only Oktoberfest not to serve German beer and had the option of carling or becks in a stein for £8 and when questioned we were told all the German beer had been sold on the afternoon session.
This wasn’t true as friends went in the afternoon session and it was similar.
The bratwursts were just sausage with onions, no options like sauerkraut or chips.
I’m sad to say after queuing for an hour for a drink there was no entertainment other than quietly piped music.
We, like so many others, left and it was a complete of time and money.
If only the inept and greedy organisers had planned the event with the same effort as some the paying customers who were clearly expecting far more than they got.

Review of Oktoberfest Comes to Chester!
Waste of time and money , no German beer , your stein choice was either carling or coors light .. entertainment was a joke and a game of bingo in the middle what’s all that about . It took an hour to get served at the bar !! Tinned hot dogs and burgers no German food. If your going to do a German festival at least make the effort!!!

Review of Oktoberfest Comes to Chester!
Absolutely terrible.
Everything about the event was a complete disaster from queuing at the bar, to the beer served, the lack of music, lack of atmosphere.
Easily one of the worst paid events I've ever attended.

Review of Oktoberfest Comes to Chester!
Absolutely appalling. Full house lights on. No live entertainment. No appropriate music. No atmosphere. NO GERMAN BEER. People made an effort to dress up but the organisers didn’t bother with dressing the room up or appropriate music. Small hot dog stand so no authentic German food either. Totally lacking in the whole October fest experience. Would not recommend and will not be attending again. Was literally a queue for a stein of coors.
