This was a very disappointing event. We had to queue for over an hour before we got served, needless to say we didn’t stay.

I would hope that you are going to refund me and all the others that left.

I would not recommend at all. In fact I would appreciate a refund Queued! Queued for 45 minutes at the bar to get a drink. The event was badly organised, room was not decorated to make it feel Bavarian at all and lights were fully on all the time. Also the band was not authentic and not very good. We left the event early.

Poorly organised, 45 minutes queue at the bar to be served Carling, being an Oktoberfest you would think they would sell some kind of German beer, left after 2 hours.

There was no live entertainment or table service. 3 bar staff for the event. Queuing for an hour to get drinks. Badly organised.

Awful event - 1hr queues for a drink, no German beer, Carling or Coors!!! No German food, bands were awful - left early as did loads of others

Hmm well hardly Bavaria comes to Chester - couple of blue and white check tablecloth’s and bunting was about it. Long queue for Carlsberg or Coors. How can you have a beer festival with only two beer pumps? Queuing for over an hour for beer on a four hour session not great!

Money making exercise. Do not go, unless you like warm, flat Carling. About as far from an authentic continental European experience as is possible to get. Very low quality.

Hands down by far the worst event I have ever been to. The whole thing was cheap and tacky poorly organised. We didn’t stay for the full event. Would like a refund I feel scammed.

Literally a few tables with some bunting up. Very disappointed, we couldn’t even get a German beer on draft, which is particularly frustrating after queuing for an hour.

Absolute con. Queuing for ages to buy steins of watered down carling. No German beer or food. No table service. No organisation.
The entertainment livened it up a little bit, but was hardly authentic.
So many people walked out. By 8.30pm the place was half empty. At 9.30 the bouncers were aggressively telling us to leave.
Nothing that was advertised was actually provided.

Oktoberfest with no German beer, no table service, queuing an hour for a pint, no oompah band, rubbish food. Not what they advertised, refunds should be given. It could have been so good at this location. Just as well the company as good.

Was only Oktoberfest in name.... No German beers on tap to enjoy a Stein. Only had choices of Carling, Coors, Worthingtons and Carling Cider. Wouldn't go again unless we fully knew it would be different

Very Tacky, poorly executed and effectively a money making scam! stayed for less than 10 minutes. Massive queue for over priced drinks. Food cash only, and mass catering hot dogs. Nothing even approaching German about this venue or event. Would have preferred a game of bingo!

Huge queues to get a drink to then find that there were no German beers on offer and had no option but to drink Carling. Food consisted of cheap hotdogs on cheap bread. Overall I wouldn't recommend this event to anyone. Very poor.
