The most brash Mancunian who swore constantly., German beer out of a fridge in a bottle that try ran out of by 14.30. Nearly everyone left the only beer in a stein was coors or carling …..absolutely poor and waste of money

This was an Oktoberfest event that did not sell any German beer in draught and the ran out of bottled beer. No one wants a stein of Carling. Crap beer, crass entertainment.

The venue was inappropriate for the type of event, and although a free table was found, huge queues for drinks with few staff serving, and sun-par quality food left us with a poor Oktoberfest experience.

Poor effort at ‘transforming’ the venue to a German bier hall - a couple of paper table cloths and a German flag was pretty insulating for the ticket fee. Bar service was extremely slow - had to queue for 1.5 hours until we had our first round of drinks.
The live oompah band were an absolute farce and were clearly not authentic and the weak attempt at comedy from the lead wouldn’t have been out of place in a 1980’s holiday camp.

Awful. A total rip off. After attending Oktoberfest in Chester in 2018 we looked forward to this and we were hugely disappointed. Huge queue for drinks, poor food, beer on tap was Carling or Coors those famous German beers. Bingo hall with some bunting was hardly the complete transformation promised.

The worst event I have ever been to
£8 for a stein - a stein of bloody carling
Hotdogs were no frills sausages from Aldi or something
Apart from a few flags it was about as German as hitler
Left after an hour
Absolute waste of money

There was absolutely nothing German about this event. Hanging a few flags and banners just doesn’t cut it. Serving Carling in a Stein is a really poor effort as too was the food, tinned hotdogs in a bun. Utterly shocking. Left after one drink. Refunds should be made available to everyone who went, truly and insult to paying punters.

Venue was terrible. The queue for the bar took an hour and once you got to the front, you find "No German Beers". Absolute waste of money, left early, along with many other people.

What a joke, Coors and Carling as the draft option. Warm becks or erdinger bottles as an excuse for German beer, which they ran out of apparently. Queues upon queues. Can’t comment on food or band as left soon after arrived. Spoke to rep on way out who apologised and took details, will wait to see if they do the decent thing and refund money.
