Defected Malta returns for its second year in October - the perfect time to escape the worsening British weather to check out some incredible artists at multiple venues.
The lineup is looking absolutely lovely again, with some top names set to perform at pool parties, open-air clubs, boat parties, and even a castle party. The artists on the lineup touch on sounds from all across the house music spectrum, providing an unbeatable soundtrack for sun-drenched parties that boom on until the early hours. (There's also Defected Croatia, if that's more your vibe.)

Glitch Festival is one of the best Malta festivals, bringing the tastiest house and techno for three days of pure ecstasy. With loads going down, it's impossible to be bored. Check out secret cave raves, crazy boat parties, rooftop pool parties, and, of course, unmissable artists such as Bonobo and Charlotte de Witte. As the festival takes place in glorious Malta, it encourages festivalgoers to check out the island, including ruins, beaches, and historical towns. Get down for the main festival on the 14th - 15th, or get there early and stay late for opening, closing, and boat parties!

Earth Garden is Malta’s largest alternative festival with music covering a range of genres, including house, drum and bass, electro, hip hop, techno, acid, alt. rock, dub, ska, funk, reggae, blues, world music, and beyond. More than a music festival, Earth Garden is about creativity and inclusivity, with workshops and talks in the holistic area. To keep the littluns entertained, there’s a Fun Park which, in the past, has featured bouncy castles and rides. If you’re the artsy type, Earth Garden could be the one for you.

Following a super successful debut last year, Euphoria Weekender is back again for four days of pure trance bangers. Not only will incredible DJs be dropping blissful tunes all weekend long but you’ll get to see them perform in idyllic settings and venues, including Liquid Club, Tigullio, Montekristo Estate, and Aria Complex. And with the sun shining the entire time, of course they had to deliver incredible pool parties too. Upgrade to VIP for more parties, pool parties, and boar parties for a killer weekend away.

ABODE on the Rock

Another festival born from a record label, ABODE on the Rock is back again to treat an intimate crowd of just 10,000 to some unreal tunes. Usually taking place on the small island of Gozo, ticketholders can enjoy beach parties, stunning landscapes, boat parties, night events, villa parties, and a whole lot of sunshine. Last year saw Darius Syrossian, Alan Fitzpatrick, Richy Ahmed, Jamie Jones, and Danny Howard take to the decks, so we’re buzzing to see who’s announced for 2023!

Summer Daze brings a lineup of the biggest names in pop and electronic to Malta every year. We’re waiting on a lineup announcement for 2023, but to get you giddy, last year’s fest featured Jason Derulo, Elderbrook, Anne-Marie, G-Eazy, and Bastille as headliners. And when it gets a bit hot from the endless dancing, there’s a chill-out area for you to recover before getting back out there and enjoying the tunes.
As the brainchild of Creamfields and Radio One, you can always expect a selection of the biggest artists on the planet right now that brings tunes fit for dancing beneath the sun.
