Did you know Ibiza has around 10 hours of sun a day? It also has 57 - yep, 57 - different beaches, and the average temperatures stay above 20 degrees for over eight months of the year. It's also home to some of the biggest, maddest, longest parties, with the world's leading DJs who were born to get the party started soundtracking it all.
We know you didn’t really need any convincing to head back out to Ibiza, but we thought we’d be that mate that reminds you just how unreal it is.
As the party capital of Europe, maybe even the world, there’s always loads on, and we can’t wait to get stuck into it again. And, seeing as you’re here, you probably feel the same way too. So let’s get planning! Here are the best events and music festivals in Ibiza.

If the thought of the crowds upon crowds of people filling the streets, clubs, and bars, and would prefer a more relaxed partying session in Ibiza, this one’s a great shout. Going down in October, the weather is still beautiful, but many of the crowd’s have gone home by this point.
Hosted at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, a ticket to this festival with throwback names on the lineup also includes accommodation and access to the after-party. At Back To Ibiza, you can also kiss goodbye to expensive pints. A cold, fresh pint here will only knock you back about €5. Lovely.

Love a bit of trance and techno? Well, let us introduce you to the Amplify Ibiza Weekender. Dance all day and night at the pre-party, on a boat with other wild ravers, and at club nights. It all goes down at Ibiza Boat Club, the island’s biggest floating party location. There, you’ll dance to tunes blasted over a state-of-the-art VOID sound system while catching rays and unbeatable views of the island's coastline.

The Ibiza Music Summit is a bit different to your average fest. This celebration of music comes with plenty of electronic music performances, keynote speakers, workshops, conversations, lectures, and more with industry leaders. If that wasn’t enough, they usually put on opening and closing parties to get us all in the mood and introduce us to the industry’s best artists. Bursting with music, activities, and great times, it’s certainly a unique festival experience you won’t regret.

Defected Ibiza was born from Defected Records, a record label that, for the past 20 years, has been dedicated to unbeatable house music, making them the perfect team to soundtrack your summer getaway. And they’ll be taking over the incredible club, Eden, on Fridays from the 5th of May to the 29th of September. But as the 5th is the opening party, we know they’ll go hard. We don’t have a lineup yet, but we know it’ll be killer. They always are!

This one’s going to be absolutely massive. Two of Ibza’s best clubs are joining forces to host the biggest opening party of the season. Hi and Ushuaia invite you to The Signal for hours and hours of tunes spun by the world’s most respected electronic artists. There’s a day pass for Ushuaia, a night pass for Hi, and (if you can handle it) a pass for both. If you go for the latter ticket, you’ll be partying day to night back to day again. If you’re up for this, don’t forget to pack some paracetamol!

SDL or Sueños de Libertad, which means Dreams Of Freedom, will be back again in 2023. The fest brings Spanish and international artists to its stage, typically of the indie and alternative variety. Also boasting street art, markets, and an area for food, it’s sure to be a treat. We don’t have much info about the 2023 edition just yet, but last year’s fest saw Queralt Lahoz, Go Cactus, Bomba Estéreo, and many more.

All-inclusive festival? Sounds like pure heaven, if you ask us. Expect house, soul, funk, disco, and deep house, while you’re partying poolside with a bev in hand.

Where: Playa d'en Bossa, Sant Jordi Ses Salines in Ibiza
Situated on the lovely Playa d’en Bossa beach, Ushuaia is one of the world’s best clubs and has held this prestigious title for some years now. From day to night, the club is bumping with some of the world's most famous DJs on the decks. Entirely outdoors, you can enjoy the lovely warm weather while partying to the best tunes brought to life by pyro, including lasers, confetti, CO2 jets, and more. Oh, and there’s a pool too!

Where: Avenida 8 de Agosto, Ibiza Town in Ibiza
Is there anyone who doesn’t recognise that legendary cherry logo? Pacha, opposite the marina in Ibiza Town, is mainly known for house music. Across its five rooms, you can find plenty of house tunes but also disco, funky house, soulful house, and similar genres. Head to the rooftop terrace to continue the party under the stars, sipping delicious cocktails on comfy sofas.

If superclubs sound a bit intense with seas of thousands of people, perhaps Octan is more your vibe. Smaller than the huge Ibiza clubs, Octan provides a more intimate, personal experience. Promoting that raw, underground experience, the music offering here is diverse and spun by world-class artists, catering to many tastes while maintaining the quality you’d expect. Rave in the basement to loud music with its low ceiling, or head up to the rooftop terrace to catch some fresh air.

During the day, Lio is the place to be for a Mediterranean-inspired dinner with a dazzling cabaret show. In the evening, it's transformed into a nightclub with gorgeous views. Many Ibiza clubs have lovely scenery, but Lio is like something from a movie with a view of its infinity pool, the bay, the Old Town, and the Dalt Vila. Theatrics and entertainment are part of the package here, with singers, dancers, acrobats, and DJs.

Voted the best club in the world in DJ Mag’s 2022 by readers, Hi is definitely worth a visit. Since opening in 2017, the club has bagged a fair few awards and accolades for its incredible nights with world-renowned DJs and state-of-the-art sound systems. Areas in the club include the Club Room, with an intimate, underground feel, and the Magic Garden and Secret Garden, which contain outdoor terrace areas to cool off in after sweating on the dancefloor. Finally, there's The Theatre, inspired by an Italian amphitheatre.

A key club of the Ibiza scene since its opening in 1999, Eden is a superclub that has long been considered one of the island's vital party spots. Spread across two floors with thirteen bars, two DJ booths, VIP areas, events with the most adored brands and DJs, and incredible sound to back it all, a party at Eden is at the top of many ravers' bucket lists.

A cracking Ibiza beach club, O Beach boasts a fun, luxury poolside experience. Whether you’re seeking a day of lazing around by the pool or raving ‘til sunset, O Beach has got you covered. Head to the Sunset Roof Garden to catch jaw-dropping views of the Ibiza sunset, or stay poolside and sip cocktails to the soundtrack of the resident DJs.

Ibiza’s original club, Amnesia was brought to life in the 70s. From the 80s up until the present day, Amnesia has remained one of the most influential and loved clubs on the island thanks to its unique open-roofed dancefloor that allows the morning sun to shine through, the incredible artists it books, killer soundsystem, and décor. Enough said!

Ibiza Rocks is arguably one of the more diverse clubs in Ibiza, welcoming electronic and hip-hop artists to its stage. This year's musical offering includes Bru-C, ArrDee, Becky Hill, Craig David, Bugzy Malone, and Nathan Dawe. It also offers multi-genre parties with pop, DnB, indie, hip-hop, and more. As the name suggests, it’s also a hotel. When staying here, you can get involved with the daily pool parties from the comfort of your balcony. So even if you're super hungover, you can still get stuck in. There’s also the Ibiza Rocks Bar for food, drink, and sunset views.

If you need a break from the electronic tunes, or if they were never your vibe to begin with, you might fancy a night at Swag. The music policy here is hip-hop, Latin, trap, house, and similar genres. It’s open every night and is the only club with an “urban” music focus. More intimate than most, the club can hold around 1,000 ravers, and has two VIP areas, and, of course, wild visuals to complement the tunes.

Don’t be surprised if you hear aeroplanes cruising overhead at DC10. Situated near the airport, planes often fly low over the venue's garden area as they head to the runway. Predominantly techno-focused, the club has some iconic nights (and days), including Circoloco, which dates back to 1999.
