Review of Cinderella : Crafty Vintage : Spring Bank Holiday
Unfortunately, Cinderella was not good. The whole day was very over priced, which I think you expect from something like this and is fine as long as it is at least good. The seating for Cinderella was old fashioned deck chairs, which looked lovely but were far too low for the children, so we ended up sitting in the floor anyway. The story was not like Cinderella (apart from the characters) and only lasted about 40 minutes altogether. Luckily the weather was beautiful which salvaged the day.
After Cinderella we purchased a pulled pork burger and fries from Edgy Veggie for £10.50 each. Again, festival prices - totally fine for a good bit of scran. Unfortunately they forgot our order and when it did arrive there was no butter on the bun, and hardly any apple sauce so that was dry, and the meat was also dry as a bone and seasoned only with a bucket load of salt. It was dry, chewy and would have been better if I could say that it was tasteless. The meals especially were really really disappointing and went in the bin. What a waste.
The rest of the festival was lovely with some really nice stalls and lovely people. We would all go to the festival again but wouldn’t watch a show or return to Edgy Veggie

Review of Crafty Vintage : Family Festival : Spring Bank Holiday
Been to many crafty vintage and very disappointed. Confusion with website meant that I bought the wrong tickets, now paid for tickets for August as well as May. Very little stalls, atmosphere. Completely understand some due to Covid restrictions but didn't think it was worth the entry fee to be there for 20 minutes.

Review of Manfords Comedy Club : Crafty Vintage : Spring Bank
The comedy event was brilliant
Really good acts and really well put together
Venue was stunning
The actual fair was a bit disappointing but that might be a reflection of my expectations rather than the fair
What was really poor was the drinks arrangements for rhe comedy show . The app wasn’t working properly and the delays were so long that rhe compère had to apologise to the audience . These things happen . 45 minutes for our drink to arrive was a bit ridiculous
However what I couldn’t get over was how limited the available selection of drinks was . Water or fruit shoot only if you didn’t want alcohol
Lager only !! No beer ! No cider !! Who organises an outdoor drinks bar on a hot bank holiday with no cider

We had our grandchildren with us. 4 and 2. Nothing there for them at all so not really a family friendly event. Stayed for a coffee then left after 15 minutes

Review of Crafty Vintage : Family Festival : Spring Bank Holiday
Having been to one previously before COVID, I am assuming that it was probably difficult to plan for. There were not many stalls and although I am only half an hour away it was not really worth braving the Bank Holiday traffic for. The setting was lovely and everyone friendly but not enough going on . Hopefully will be better as we unlock.

Absolute rip off at £3 entry per person. 20 stalls of largely tat, 3 food trucks (2 of which were mostly serving chips) and the skiddle app didn't work. Wouldn't recommend this event at all - we arrived and left within 20 minutes.

Great all round weekend as went Sunday for Kenny Jaeger & Crazy P house and disco day, and Monday for comedy session. Dan and the team are a great bunch and looking forward to attending more CV events soon.

Lovely day out. Would have been ideal if the pantomime/show was advertised as being extra a bit more clearly. Other than that a great venue and day out.
