Good venue. Good atmosphere despite smaller numbers of people on some of the days. More food choice wouldnt go amiss. Great festival given it is its first full year of running. Good range of music.

It wasn’t that great, especially when we heard tickets were going cheaper close to the festival after we had already paid full price. There was also an offer on for free camping after we bought out tickets which then was quickly deleted. This makes things confusing, annoying and unfair. It should just be a set price no matter what time you buy tickets. The festival was very quiet compared to other festivals so not much of an atmosphere. The bar didn’t have a great selection of drinks and for how quiet the place was the service was slow. I also think the prices of drinks were too much for this festival. Won’t recommend this festival or go again

Review of Texfest 2018
Hi - I thought the whole event was amazing. I have been to Glasto and Reading before and this was every bit as good. The layout was great, food, bar, toilets and marquees all good. The bands were good and included a nice mix of styles. You just can't beat live music of any genre as long as it is live! Overall, a well organised event and I can't wait until next year. It just needed a few more people but that will happen as the event grows. Long may it continue.

The venue was easily found with clear directions. There was ample parking space. The grounds were well organised and there were plenty of staff etc. all keen to help.
The stages were well designed and ventilation was excellent in stage 1 but not as good in stage 2.
The music was varied and entertaining.
The best band for me was The Northern Heights. Their music was was lively, original and in my opinion entertaining to all ages of audience.
The saddest thing was the scarcity of attendees! the venue was huge which emphasised this.
I hope that this will not deter organisers from next year's festival.
The stalls and their wares took me back in time.
I would attend again especially to hear The Northern Heights!!

Great idea but a bit more needed for the family with children to do, and possibly let people take food and drink in, very expensive if you have children as no food or drink except water could be taken in .
