Review of Oktoberfest Ipswich 2021
Such a shame as could have been a great day… having to queue for an hour for the bar to move only 10 meters we decided enough was enough and left. When your selling steins of beer it’s going to take a while to fill these glasses up so common sense says you need more bar staff and a bigger bar. I feel sorry for the entertainment team as the queue went round the whole of the marquee as a result they could not do they job properly. The organisers need to take more responsibility for such a shambles of an event. Would like to hear back from them but I very much doubt I will get any response.

Review of Oktoberfest Ipswich 2021
For £25 just to get in with no drinks or anything included was a disappointment. 20 minutes to queue for a drink and the music seemed to have no reflection of a German beer festival. Would not go again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

What an utter shambles !….arrived at 16.00 to find a queue for the bar extending over half way around the tent edg. Ok you expect it to be busy and may have to wait, but 50 minuets later and barely moved forward, when looking behind me the line had almost extended back the whole way around. People pushing in ahead, security doing nothing to prevent, and staff who didn’t care. We did not get to enjoy what should have been a fun afternoon of German entertainment, food and drink. We left after an hour as till no where near getting served. I am sure we are not the only ones to have a poor experience.. waste of money and time. You will have to do a lot better if I am ever going to return or recommend !

Review of Oktoberfest Ipswich 2021
Good atmosphere and good music. Really let down by massively understaffed bar and queues of 40+ minutes to get served. At one point the queue extended round the whole of the tent including in front of the entertainment which ruined the vibe and I'm sure it affected the performers too. Completely avoidable with better planning.
Was also disappointed with the lack of merchandising; a missed money making opportunity there too.
On balance, we had fun but probably won't be booking tickets if you run it again next year.

Review of Oktoberfest Ipswich 2021
We came all the way from Chelmsford after not being able to attend our own Oktoberfest and seeing how amazing it was but I was bitterly disappointed! One big tent, 2 food stalls, about 10 toilets and nothing else. The queues to get drinks were so long that we only got 1 when we first arrived at the price of £10 for not very nice beer after that the music was okay the band were good but we left as did many other people after seeing how crappy it was. We have a beer festival in our local park every year, free entrance, at least 10 food stalls, alot shorter wait times for drinks how anyone can be charged 25 quid for this monstrosity of an event I don't know

£25 to get in?? £10 stein deposit, £10 a drink, queing for a lifetime. Food wasn't great.
Oompah band was decent keeping the atmosphere good.
Toilets were too bad for the women with us to use.
Very overpriced!!!

Review of Oktoberfest Ipswich 2021
Waiting times too long for a drink. Iâ??d suggest queues should be split between those who already have sheins and those who donâ??t, as this would have helped. People left to go to local pubs after a while due to this. Yes itâ??s a beer festival but there wasnâ??t anything left but beer by 20:15. No wine or jägers. Complete mismanagement of alcohol volumes.
Food? Just hotdogs and crepes. Bit disappointing. Not a Oktoberfest, just a bit tent, a band and some â??germanâ?? beers. Oh and Aspels cider, a must have beverage for that Oktoberfest experience ð??ð?¼

Review of Oktoberfest Ipswich 2021
Very disappointing event, ticket price too high for just entry, nothing else included. If venue hadnâ??t been so loud and if I had found someone official to speak to about the issues would have raised at the time; however, staff dissinterested and many apologised as they were only bought in at last minute. Bar and bar staff not sufficient for number of attendees / tickets sold. Was able to obtain 1 drink on arrival around 3pm and after that the queue for the drinks was well over 1hr long. All 3 of us abs many others Left venue after 1 drink only. Many people arrived and left on arrival due to such long queues. Would never recommend this event and location to anyone.

Review of Oktoberfest Ipswich 2021
Very overpriced to get in and drinks expensive ( when you eventually got through the long queues to get one.). The wine was the worst I have ever tasted. Music good but not in keeping with what you expect at Octoberphest. Lacked German atmosphere, only two food stalls! Toilets were a disgrace, particularly in current climate, ran out of sanitizer. Did not stay to the end I’m afraid!!!
