Review of Loopallu Festival 2016
Excellent small festival with a good range of bands and some big names , a stunning location and small tents where you are really close to the bands .
Only downside is its sold as a 3 day festival but there is very little on Sunday though you can enjoy Ullapool and it's surroundings which are stunning.

Brilliant family fun in beautiful surroundings. Had an amazing time, the best music, excellent food and drinks. Bought a few souvenirs which are good quality and reasonable price

Review of Loopallu Festival 2015
Love Loopallu. Great weather this year, hope we can say the same for next year as it will be on in October!! Line-up wasn't great for me but still saw a few good bands, good mix of music but missed a dance act this year. Gun was the highlight for me, great live band and I didn't realise I knew all their old stuff, they played a great set for a festival

Review of Loopallu Festival 2015
Third year in a row that I have been to Loopallu. I think it is my favourite festival.
I had purchased tickets before the acts were announced and will probably do so again for 2016.
Not all the music was to my taste but the quality was undeniable.
Well worth the effort, especially with the fringe acts to see in the local pubs after the headliners....

Review of Loopallu Festival 2015
Great festival; very friendly; very easy-going. Some of the best stuff was in the smaller tent between the main acts. Only criticism would be sound quality on the main stage: it was often muddy. That's a problem when a lot of the bands had a bunch of folky stuff in their sets. You've got an incredible fiddler on stage - you can see that but you can't quite hear it - it sounds like five fiddlers who aren't quite keeping up with each other - complicated runs blend into a bit of a mulch. But it's not just about folk; it even affected the marvelous Captain Sensible. Maybe that tent needs some soft furnishings to soak up the echo. Banners, hangings, flags, sofas, curtains, pelmets, tassles, whatever. Fix the sound and you needn't fix much else. Oh and... chaps and chapettes doing security, cleaning, catering were all very nice indeed.

Review of Loopallu Festival 2015
I really love this festival and have been going for many years. Most of the bands on Friday were very poor though - really disappointed with the quality (apart from the amazing Skipinnish). The Saturday line up made up for it however thankfully and this was an amazing day of talent. Friday score would be 1 and Saturday 5. Would still recommend and come back though as the atmosphere and fun were amazing as always :)
