Review of Loopallu Festival 2016
A fun and friendly family festival. Great line up. Feeder were out of this world....worth the ticket cost themselves! The main tent underfoot was very muddy and water logged in areas but dried up to an extent for Saturday's event. Will return in 2017 without a doubt!

Some stuff very good but the sound mix was dreadful. Too much base and far too loud. I stood outside and watched people leave on the last night because it was uncomfortable. Professional sound like with Stranglers far better and didn't make your ears hurt.
You need more attractions like story telling and some small individual artist stuff - small stage.

Review of Loopallu Festival 2016
Yet another amazing weekend although i must admit to having preferred it being the weekend before as the weegies get the Monday as a holiday haha! Loved Hunter and the Bear and Little Mammoths and Dave Cowan is a must, would like it to be a little less 80's as i think that's what rewind is for but you can't please everyone. Still an amazing venue and atmosphere very friendly and laid back with no trouble at all so great for families too. Don't know how they organised the sunshine two years in a row but well done! Will be back next year :)

Good event. My first festival and I am only 16 so it was great to be at it with friends. Food really expensive but music was varied and cool. I could come and go over two days so I heard lots of bands. Lucy Spraggan was amazing.

Review of Loopallu Festival 2016
Hi Guys,
Great festival as usual, however, something has changed with the sound in the Main Tent. It seems to me that it was turned up so loud that it was distorting the vocals inside the tent. The sound for Feeder was appalling, it was like the sound guys had turned up the volume a bit all day unitl the headliners distorted. In previous years, you could sit on the verge outside the tent and have a conversation. This year you couldn't! Need to srt that out for next year.
