Great festival only let down by the sound quality in the main tent. The bass was killer in your chest loud (too loud) but the vocal sound was terrible so much so we left and went to enjoy the bar tent instead.

Really good but the sound was not right in the main tent and the campers could do with some portable toilets. One toilet block is not enough.
The food outlets were also really good and reasonably priced.
The fringe is such fun. We will be back next year

Have been to a lot of festivals, Glastonbury, download, reading, etc, but loopallu is something special, hadn't been before but already have accommodation booked for next year.... Proof, that big, is not always best......

One of the friendliest festivals we have ever been too, in such a fabulous setting. 2016 was our first visit but we will definately be back. Well done to the organisers and all the bands.

Having been many times before I can't help but say that the great weather this year helped tremendously with the atmosphere. Plus, the new Loopallu lights were also very much appreciated. It made the entrance very bright and enticing. This year I was able to pick up from people at the event that they were so glad they had bought a ticket this year and were really praising the event organisers.

A great little festival in a stunning location. The headline act on the Friday was ruined by the music overpowering the singing and on the Saturday the headline act was let down by their singing and music. Aside from that there was some fantastic music and singing from the majority of the other acts.

Another fantastic Loopallu! I love this festival and try and attend every year. It never disappoints! Well organised with plenty staff working. Great bands and a fantastic atmosphere!

Total rubbish except for the weather which was awesome. Nothing for kids to do there. Festival, in my mind was too strung out and not integrated enough with itself or with the town itself - you could have had nmore inclusive activities on the seafront for example. Ullapool is hugely artistic where was the Ullapool talent being showcased? Food should have been local - what about seafood, what about smoked salmon? Next time i'll not buy the ticket and just head to the pubs - that's all this was a big pub gig in a field. you could have had tables outside the music tent for folks to sit at drink and smoke and listen to the music. (Guy in the big beer tent paying old punk ongs with his young lad of about 13 or so was totally amazing the best beand there I reckon) food site tables (pallets with cloth) not that great for sitting on or eating from - try it. Go to Belladrum and see what they got on - it's family friendly, it's imaginative. Listen anyone can put a tent up and put on a band or 2 but giving it soul takes skill. This didn't have it for me I'm afraid. 2 out of 10 from us. Check out www.piggery-smokery.co.uk for the food outlet these guys rock and would lift the tired dreary stuff being sold there - wood fired pizzas sold by a guy who would rub his hair then take your cash before preparing your pizza - errr... no thanks.

Great finish to the festival season as usual. You won't get a better place to have a festival, beautiful setting and this year equally beautiful weather. Well worth the travel and roll on next year. 😍
