We go every year and always have a great time , the view driving up is breath taking ,the camp site is great the music is always good and the seafood shack is delisous and its such a easy going friendly festival, i am so disapointed to find out its not in the campsite and am wondering were are all us campers going to go as the hotels etc are always booked up a year in advance, cheers x

Great time at Loopallu except no security to tell motorhome owner to switch off engine that was running for hours during the night and that security weren't going to let person with blue badge in to  collect camping gear , which was disappointing and prejudiced against disabled people. 

A perfectly formed wee festival set in the most breathtaking scenery, I loved that the whole town of ullapool becomes completely involved in the festival. The late night fringe events in the local pubs were a highlight.
I had an amazing weekend meeting a variety of fantastic people from all corners of the UK.
Roll on 2017

The Loopallu festival is situated in a very decent location with toilet blocks and within walking distance to all Ullapool has to offer. Last year I went and throughly enjoyed myself as Skerryvore and Skipinnish headlined and were worth the cost of the ticket. However, this year, I was very disappointed by the lineup that was eventually announced. The acts that played were rubbish. Because of this, I merely used the campsite as a place to sleep and did not spend more time within the festival that I had to.  

Loopallu is the festival I never miss the only negative I have is the line up seems to get worse every year the headline acts are either old 90's bands with a new album out or an even older band just making the numbers up, it feels their getting lazy these days with the line ups and they leave it later every year to announce the full line up as well.
