Janet Kay and Carol Thompson were amazing. However, within the venue there was absolutely no consideration for people with mobility issues and very limited seating available. This made it impossible for me to enjoy myself and I left after the first two acts I saw.

Had a great time ….. tbh I think the evenings event should’ve finished with General Levy as I feel that would ended it perfectly Great atmosphere everything was really accessible. No bad vibe anywhere an lovely people. Security were greet and friendly an the bar staff too. For an indoor event it was a perfect set up ty winter gardens

Review of 90s Baby Eastbourne

Unsuitable venue - very little seating, poor rundown facilities, 2 out of 3 bars had no running water, no sanitary machines in the women's toilets, little running water in the toilets, despite serving food (outside only) there was nowhere to sit to eat or even stand at a table.
No prior warning that this was a card only event.
Security took extremely unnecessary precautions removing personal items on arrival - lipstick, stick concealer and powder/bronzer were considered "unsuitable items"! These items were not securely stored meaning lots went missing. Utter chaos
Overall so disappointing.

The venue was perfect, great atmosphere too. Act's amazing! The biggest criticism was the price of soft drinks. £3 for a very small plastic cup. Not even a can sorry but that is extortionate. It was also poured from bottles that probably cost £1 a litre. To add insult to injury it was warm. Couldn't afford to put ice in! Crazy!

Fantastic line up, and sound system. Despite having requested some assistance for 3 of our group with health and mobility issues, the promised wristbands for access to 'seated area' (which we discovered was non existent) were not available. Security, despite there being an unecessarily high number of them, were really unhelpful and disinterested . The few seats we could find were hogged by people all night, so clearly there was a need for seating. Our only option was to sit on the floor which for an older person using a stick to walk with was not possible and they ended up having to leave early. Beer overpriced and no tap or bottled water available at the only bar we could easily, get to. Would have been good to have had a few tables around the food area instead of having to balance it all on the bins or floor as people tried to eat It was a great night, but could have been organised better and you do need to get your act together to provide adequate assisted facilities.

The sound system was DIRE , it was reggae , one is meant to hear the singers , not a reververberaiting bass

Soul II Soul were absolutely world class! I will definitely be seeing them again!
The Winter Garden is a great venue to see live music. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It really was the perfect night out!

For a carnival to be inside was a bit of a let down, not a variety of food stalls and too many security so couldn't really smoke any joints, it's a reggae carnival but the line up and music was amazing

Great festival though witld have been good to know the timed the acts were performing before arriving.. drinks were expensive but overall a brilliant day

Well organised safe clean environment plenty of refreshments available and ample toilets . Non intrusive but clearly professional security in attendance all helpful and friendly. Also saw paramedic presence always reassuring. Had a wonderful time and so did my guests and wider family who also attended. Last but not least the entertainment was epic.
