Review of Ultra Con 2016

Too many people there do couldn't see the stage or look at the stalls. This had a major impact on our enjoyment. Had to queue too long to get in despite pre ordering tickets. Suggest for future events limiting ticket sales and having more staff on admission turnstiles.

Very good family run event was well worth the drive up from London. My only criticism would be the the sellers stalls being right next to the entrance. This caused a bottle neck of people that made it very difficult and time consuming to get in and out of the venue. Unfortunately this also did not allow enough room to look at the seller stalls.

Everything was great apart from unorganised queuing for both entering and the cruiser experience.

Excellent value and family entertainment. Well planned throughout with a great focus on kids participation. Those events that charged were very cheap (usually just a couple of quid) so didn't mind spoiling the kids. The stalls should have been spread out a little more for easier access by allowing maybe the middle aisle to be moved into the corridor instead as this was very wide and mainly unused before bottle necking either at the stalls on the way out or the way into the main arena on the way in. Will definitely be coming back next year

The event itself was fabulous but the venue meant that kids couldn't see a thing! We stayed a bare hour as the children hated the squashed atmosphere. There should have been a one way around the viewing areas, you couldn't see where any of the queues were to have pics taken or look at each item, it was just masses of problems everywhere. As for the stage, you couldn't get near it because property needed to be walking past to get in or out of the building, same with the stalls, it was simply too crowded. Such a shame the venue let it down as it was a great event with lovely people and tne costumes were fab

A brilliant day out at a great venue, we attended UltraCon 2015 at Magna and prefered this year's venue. GREAT Cosplayers and props. Only complaint was when we booked (in August) it was not made clear that an additional ticket was required for the Cruiser experience, so I had 3 gutted children yesterday 😮

A good event, but could be far better and much more enjoyable in a bigger space. It was very difficult to get to many of the stalls due to them being too close together for the number of people in attendance.

i was in london on the 29/10/16 at comicon and we had an amazing time there but Ultracon blew comicon out of the water me and my son had the most awsome time at ultracon we cant wait for the next one please email me a list of all the events so we can go a big thank you to all at ultracon it was the best day we've had at any event like it

What a fantastic event. Can highly recommend to everyone. The only downside was the lack of available drinks. The upstairs catering was great, but needed more options available.
Anyone thinking of going, do not hesitate to book tickets. A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The time waiting was ridiculous, we were stood 1hr 10 mins, and were in and out so couldn't understand the long wait, other than the lack of queue management, no one knew where it started so people were pushing in, the photo is poor, expected to see the famous window in the photo but that was cut out, and we looked photoshopped in.

Fantastic event, clearly very popular by the phenomenal turnout. First time visiting Ultracon and we thoroughly enjoyed the event. The issues in main were with the venue and not the organisers. The food queue was ridiculous, but having been there for a racing event before it is exactly the same, prices for food and drink are a little hefty but again this lies with the venue rather the the event. Own improvement i would suggest is the layout of the stalls as it caused severe congestion. Better signage around the event for people would help as a lot of people complained about the access past the stage when the show was on, having been there before you can go out of the doors toward the race track or up the escalator and the back down to the out side an miss it out but a lot of people clearly didn't know this. Ive marked the prices as expensive but they are the venue prices not Ultracon ticket prices as they were spot on. Will be back next year with several friends who have seen our photos and now want to come.

This was the first time me and my family went to one of these events and we absolutely loved it the kids had a great time meeting there superheros definitely will be going again

Although the overall event was spectacular unfortunately the cruiser experience was a huge dissapointment,had to queue for over an hour even though there were others in line who had not purchased the option 2 at a higher price,shame.

My review: firstly the raffle ticket was confusing. The photo was disappointing as all you can see is the front of the cruiser and it isn't a good shot of us inside. My hubby is the Star Wars fan and liked sitting in the chair and having his photo taken inside.

The Ultra Con show was great. Not sure about the Keith Lemon guy though!?

Loved all the people dressed up, the kids loved giving them all high fives! Ariel and Usula were the stars for me!

The cars and Star Wars props were fab! Got some great photos.

The stalls were close together and I couldn't make it down the middle as it was far to crowded. That might be me though, can't always cope with big crowds.
