Just wasn’t the same as being Astley hall, I wouldn’t have booked it I had known.

The venue, set up and Father Christmas were great. The only negative for this grotto it that is was quite hard to hear what Father Christmas was saying because we could hear the other families talking while they were waiting to see Father Christmas through the curtain.

There was Christmas arts and crafts before which was good Santa himself could of interacted abit more and spoken louder bit kids loved it

Think the guy in the elf department wasn't too great as no one really knew whether they be called in or what, but overall experience was good

Very friendly and welcoming but not much festive atmosphere. Do not recall any music being played. The whole experience lasted no more than 15 minutes., less than 5 minutes with Santa and that was with 3 children. The presents they received were cheap. The children were more excited on the Santa train which cost another er £10 each way for 2 adults and 3 children. So overall we felt the experience was way over priced and disappointing compared to previous years.

Lovely venue, great atmosphere. Things were running behind by a few minutes but the children were all kept entertained with crafts. my only criticism is we book 10 minute slots and we weren't in for that long and our session felt a little rushed. I have a child with additional needs, primarily visual impairment and Santa asked once what my child wanted and when he didn't get an immediate answer it was photo, present and done. My child still had a nice time but not long enough to process the question and reply.

It was absolutely magical! We didn't think we could afford a Grotto this year due to the cost of living crisis and we felt really sad and disappointed about it. But then the council released this and it was in our budget! We were so excited and looking forward to attending. The whole place was decorated beautifully, the Elves were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. It just felt exciting and just like Christmas! Santa was fab too and the gifts were lovely. We all really enjoyed our ride on the land train too, it just topped a lovely, special day.

I felt the gift was far too young for my almost 8 year old. It was probably more suitable for a child around age 3. Maybe just keep it simple with a small selection box or something.
