Review of New Love, Alternative Dating Night - 20th April
Thanks again for another awesome evening. You have managed to foster a safe space for a likeminded community, where friendships and relationships are built and strengthened. And new people are welcomed with open arms.

Review of New Love - Alternative Dating Night, November 10th
I've been really busy so unfortunately missed this on and the last few.
I went several times when it was on London Road.
Wonderful events, Lovely friendly people.....
I do a lot of stuff on my own, travelling..going to events because if I waited for my friends to do stuff..well....I'd never do stuff.
I'm actually quite shy inside and these events are welcoming, not in the slightest bit intimidating...
Give it a try, you won't regret it xxx

Review of New Love, Alternative Dating Night - New Year, New Love
My first time. Good but way TOO many people for this sort of night in this venue particularly, to even get a chance of properly meeting everyone, even after the first hour's 'ice-breakers', which even though was only a few minutes after opening was already busy! Some of the activities later in the centre of the room just involving viewing also stopped chance of meeting at least half of participants too for a good amount of time. Will though come back again, to see if I can get more used to how the night is currently organised as I value the opportunity it provides for meeting people, if not always on a dating level at least for a conversation of sorts, but still too early before feel I could invite friends to join me there too.

Review of New Love, Alternative Dating Night - New Year, New Love
Genuinely one of my favourite nights in Brighton. It was the first night I went to when I first moved here and I made some fantastic friends. Four years later and I still come along to meet interesting open minded people and to partake in some fun and unusual activities. Can't stress how great this night is for my mental health

Review of New Love, Alternative Dating Night - End Of Year Party
Its a unique but strange event. Unique because it brings together lots of diversity in an accepting non-judgemental space and allow men to show their naked behinds and women their entire bodies. Its certainly alternative BUT its not really a dating event more an opportunity for some. The venue is way the event is set out is far too noisy to facilitate any real conversations so it accepts everyone the excludes facilitating anyone for example with a hearing impairment or just struggling to hear. There are a few events organised somewhat hap-haphazard way by a young lady with a warm personality and doing her best to get people involved. She needs a megaphone whistle or something to compete with the other events concurring: that is 1. attendees gathered typically by the bar not engaged but making conversation and the other 'sideline' events that are simultaneously taking place BUT in a strange way they need to as you couldn't possibly have everyone take place in every event (don't worry if you choose to as its unlikely everyone will want to). Everyone is there for a mix of REASONS and whilst it may be fun to an extent finding out what - if you want to find new love dating- you will soon uncover some people in polyamorous relationships, their partner is also at the event are you ok with these scenarios?), the event is probably best attended by a group of friends as whilst coming lone you'll have opportunity to do a few ice breakers, where that leads you is conflicting due to the range of reasons people attend the event. Take this example (it is also real): 2 female straight friends trying an alternative dating night. Both a little shy and clearly overwhelmed. There may be approaching 100 people there but half are outta their age range, half will be female or present likewise that they are excluded, then we have a number of lesbians a couple asexual and so on and I think you get the picture this isn't a way of finding a date oh well back to internet dating where they can at least match up closer or go a speed dating where the person opposite is at least the gender they are attracted to age and so on. The events change from monthly to monthly event but some appear to stay static and need revisiting. Body sculpting on a cold freeing winter evening was badly timed - leave that for the summer. The event has interesting concepts but the delivery needs improving.
