Bug Out Weekend venue information

Bug Out Weekend 2017
The Bug Out weekend 2017 takes place over the Mayday bank holiday weekend (29th April – 1st May) near Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire. Organised by Ian Coulthard, a prepper survivalist, from Preppers UK, the event is primarily set up as an event for preppers. However, the annual event is a survival weekend for anyyone interested in prepping, survival or bushcraft and is family friendly too.
The approach is very relaxed and includes free lessons for those who wish to further their survival, bushcraft and prepping skills led by experienced instructors, speakers and advisors. Entertainment activities are also included.
Ian states that the weekend is ‘a great opportunity for people to come along and learn new skills in all three styles of survival while meeting like minded people and making new friends with people of similar interest.’
Weekend tickets cost 20 for adults, 10 for 11 – 16 year olds and are free for 10 year olds and under. Extra costs apply if you wish to partake of the barbecue or activities such as clay pigeon shooting.
