It ran a lot later than expected due to sun being late to set but even then it was a full 15-30 mins after that before it started. Atmosphere was brilliant though. Food was a bit disappointing I was expecting a little more choice and it was expensive for what I got too but good value drinks!

we were not advised that Dinton Park was pay and display and it was not obvious so we and at least three other people got parking fines.
The event started much later than advertised but on the whole was enjoyable mainly because of the film.

Dinton Pastures was a good venue for this event and it was a fun evening.
Positives:
Good venue
Great refreshment options
Separate smoking area
Nice toilets
Easy parking
Could take own food and drink in
People came round with bin bags at the end to help with clearing up
Areas for improvement:
It wasn't clear when to pay for parking until. The meters said 10 but it turned out to be 9
It said doors closed at 8 but the film didn't start till 9.30 and that wasn't clear so it was a much later night than we'd planned (or wanted)
Expensive for what it is - watching an old film in a field.

The food selection was awful and the drinks stand didn’t take card which was a problem for a lot of people. It was an expensive ticket and I’m not sure what I paid £15 for. The music volume was far too loud and again the volume was too loud when the film was playing as well. Parking was very expensive. It was a nice atmosphere though.

Just as well we WERE all allowed to bring our own food and drink.. Would not have gone otherwise. On site catering wasn't great and we wouldn't have bought any of the food... We did use the bar, although some prices were far too steep (e.g. cider)...Wine/Prosecco was "reasonably" priced though :-)
Exiting after the event needs to be better handled - None of the taxi drivers who came to collect folks had any clue as to where they could/should park - infact although the main gate was barred, taxis etc "could have driven almost right upto the car park to collect their clients - If they'd been shown where to go or there was signage..
Enjoyed the evening though :-)
Cheers

I enjoyed it but I think it was very overpriced for what it was. Had to bring our own seating, pay for parking (where attendants were trying to give us tickets whilst we were paying!) and not allowed to bring food or drink in. we got nothing additional for our tickets than a film I already own on dvd. I was excited for the atmosphere but unfortunately the vast majority didn't get involved.
