Review of GEEKS South Lincs Comic-Con
Great for a small con in a small town, well organised and a great turn out. Well done to all involved! I only have two pretty minor negative points: For a comicon it could have done with there being more comics as there were only a couple of vendors with limited stock. Needed more staff scanning and stamping at the entrance at opening time as it took thirty minutes to get in. As I said though, these are pretty minor niggles and on the whole it was a great event which I thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to anyone. Again, well done!

Great morning out for the family. All of us enjoyed ourselves, great photo oppurtunity's for the children and a great chance for the adults to meet some of the people they have grown up watching on tv. Also a great selection of memborilia to purchase. All in all a fun day.

Review of GEEKS South Lincs Comic-Con
Whilst understandably small. The event lacked some key ingredients for me. Namely graphic novels outside of basic DC/Marvel and even then they weren't particularly special comics just basic issues of current storylines. Collectibles tended to be old and un boxed. I liked having a local event but felt it could have had so much more with the right vendors involved.

Great - was my first and I thought the atmosphere was great - very busy but no pushing and shoving just everyone enjoying themselves. Chris Barrie was great taking time out to chat to my nephew. I would definitely go again - shame more people did not dress up but great to see those that did.
Note poor music score only because it was not a music event and venue only because of limited and slow food but the quality was ok.

Review of GEEKS South Lincs Comic-Con
Really fun day out... We were a group of 5 consisting of mum, dad, 15 year old, 15 year olds friend and 10 year old. Plenty for all of us to keep us entertained for over 6 hours. There were weaknesses of course in a few parts which was perhaps caused by a lack of planning in one area (compare) however nothing which ruined the rest of the day. We live about 30 minutes south of the venue and I'm not sure I would have seen any promotion on social media if it hadn't been for the fact that by chance, we went to the Springfields shopping centre a few weeks ago and noticed on a board on a wall listed with other events... Once I had looked online for more information, there was plenty of shareable info on the facebook page and event page, building up momentum and increasing the excitement so that was a big thumbs up... lots of engagement there too. Naturally we spent more money than we planned to. Canteen was full at lunchtime so like others, we walked over to the local subway... Maybe a sandwich stall or similar might have been good?? Just a thought and hopefully helpful feedback? Would love to come back again and hopefully in cosplay next time :)

Review of GEEKS South Lincs Comic-Con
A friendly and more intimate local event which was exceptional value for money. Would have liked to have seen more guests, but for the price I really couldn't complain. Far better than Showmaster events that are a total rip off. Here, £15 for a photo where 2 people can be in it. At a Showmasters event its £15 per person, so double for me and my son.
Definitely going to keep supporting local conventions.
