This was the first local comic con I had been to after going to the one at the NEC last year. I thought for a local one it was awesome. Lots to do, good venue. I also thought the non geek stuff there like the snakes and spiders was really cool. Also like the fact that hatti and chris from red dwarf were there and also Colin and Terry from dr who just made the event. I thought the range of stalls selling t-shirts etc was really good. Just a couple of things that I think could be improved for next year. First impressions is everything and Springfields could do with a jet washer to the front of the main hall. Also, when I went to the one at the NEC there was cash machines In the same hall so you didn't have to leave and come back again. I know they are just round the corner. But would be cool if somewhere in the events centre there was one. Not just for this event but I'm sure there are plenty of other events where you might just need some cash.

Enjoyable day out, Q&A very good, got some bargains (sf books, film cells etc), nice to be able to chat to celebs.

I have been to a few comicons in london, wasn't expecting the same wasn't suprised or disappointed, on the whole. Would have liked more trade tables, and more varienty, saying that, what was the deal with the meercat?? I didnt think it was well advertised, even on the day. No signs outside venue or leading to it.
On the whole would go again next year if it runs, as long as was same price.

My son had a great time loved seeing dr who Colin baker who was lovely and polite he also loved seeing davros dr who he was awesome a great guy who signed a picture for him will be going to Grantham in July he cannot wait. Had a fantastic time lovely atmosphere

My experience with the GEEKS South Lincs Comic-Con was incredible and I would, without a doubt, go again! Being the first ever Comic-Con I have been to, it was certainly extraordinary and would highly recommend anyone to go. The atmosphere was friendly and the people you meet and talk to are amazing and cosplays are definitely awing to see.

Great day. we got there at 10am and wasn't disappointed. Chris Barry was on form and the stalls were lovely. Unfortunately we did not stay for the talks as there wasn't really
enough there to keep my little girl occupi
ed for the hours leading up. Love to see it back bigger next year. well done to everyone involved

A solid event overall, lots of stalls etc, only minor niggle was no obvious queuing system for the celeb guests (which caused a nuisance block), and the prices for each celeb wasn't easily advertised for pictures/autographs until you got to their stall
