Review of Butefest 2017
Once again, another fantastic festival put on by the cracking ButeFest team. This was our first year attending as traders and the experience was very positive; we'll be back again next year! The team are very supportive and always have time for a chat. The selection of bands is a great mix of local established and up and coming mainstream artists, a good sprinkling of folkie groups and a few well known names from further afar. While I would personally like to see a bit more of local (Scottish based) headliners (Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5 need to be headlining!) it's great to hear some band I'd not normally listen to. The food is not your typical festival fare; yes, there are burgers but instead of the usual limp beef variety, you have venison or salmon & crab! And oysters from Loch Fyne... Need I say more!

Review of Butefest 2017
Overall good but management of event very unprofessional. General laid back attitude of staff terrible. Swearing, intimidating, intoxicated, missing and on one occasion a drunk steward called Steve, who claimed to be in his 60's, attempted to sexually harass a 16 year old girl whilst bragging he was still on duty. Fortunately he was stopped.

Would recomend Bitefest to anyone. This was our first time at Butefest, we will be back again next year and many more to come .
Was a shame the weather did not favour the festival, but that would not stop us, because we still had a fabulous time,

Very friendly easy going festival. The Wedding Present alone were worth the weekend ticket, but there was more besides. Good food stalls, good toilet facilities, good beer what more is there. Even the mud due to the rain didn't spoil my enjoyment. Be back next year.

Had a fantastic time even with the "sun showers".. what an atmosphere and well done to all the organisers and volunteer's..
Even got Sheree around in her power wheelchair...took a lot of the park/ muck home but hey ho...would highly recommend.

Whilst the poor weather had a part to play, even despite the rain I found the event to be hugely over priced for what was on offer. I would attend again but not if the price remains the same.

Review of Butefest 2017
Wow - we loved Butefest! I brought my 8yr old son for his first festival and our first real test of our new campervan. The staff at the campsite were so friendly and helpful, it was really nice. The first night was amazingly quiet for a festival and the second night saw a few more loud voices, but the security team swiftly moved in and stopped an argument that was threatening to erupt in the middle of the night. The music was awesome, the food was good and the stalls were great. Everyone we met was so friendly. We brought our dog and she got so much attention from everybody that she was thoroughly spoiled. We came home early (this was planned because we had something to do on the Monday) and wished we had been able to stay. Now we are just waiting for 2018 tickets to go on sale!
