Terrible day, the music the bands that played was good and couldn’t fault them but they was over an hour apart and did a half an hour sets so in the 10 hours the festival was open you got 3 hours worth of live music the rest was what sounded like someone’s Spotify account! The prices was extortionate, £10 for a 1.5l bottle of c**e, £3 for a small bottle of water, a joke for those not drinking alcohol. alcohol was shocking prices but expected at places like this. The food was crazy prices too and they even ran out during the event, even having the audacity to offer just cheese sandwiches at £5 a time by the end of the night. This was made worse by the fact that food from outside the venue was prohibited, leaving those with allergies little to no choice bar plain chips (which they ran out of too). The cherry on the top was there was parking for a maximum of 100 car for over 1000 customers with absolutely no other means of getting to the event bar a 5 mile walk from the nearest town, which they subsequently made a disabled person do. This was the worst event I’ve ever been to and seemed to only be about making the organisation plenty of money with no thought towards the customer.

After attending the event in September 2022, I have the following observations:
- too long of a gap between acts
- no drinking water available for filling bottles
- minimal security presence means no action taken against the rule breakers
- obvious copious drug use leading to disorder
- no action taken to promote a safe and enjoyable family atmosphere despite the age range stated
- few food options and long queues for extortionate pricing
- staged on a Sunday night until late in the evening which doesn't allow most to enjoy the later acts
- no parking tickets available to purchase leading to a FCFS policy and no signage when car park is full.

I didn’t end up going as there was no parking available and I did not know the area well enough to park nearby. They should really have sufficient parking if it’s going to be a family event in a remote location.

The bands/musicians we saw were great - Elton John, Oasis, Abba. Sadly we couldn’t leave our dog all day so had to miss the evening bands. We had hoped to get a pass out to relieve him part way through but only found out a couple of days before that we couldn’t. My daughter had taken her dog as there was no prior info to say they weren’t allowed (having trawled through Facebook comments about the Southport gig to find they HAD been allowed she risked it then arrived to find a No Pets sign) Fortunately the staff on the gate were understanding and allowed her in with the dog. I would not recommend this event as communication was absolutely appalling. Very hard to get prior info about bands, set times, parking and very dismissive replies to people’s genuine concerns on Facebook. Obviously a lot of people decided not to bother coming because of this. There was not enough parking at the venue and we only found out it was first come first served two days before. It’s on a busy main road with no parking nearby so the organisers were suggesting taxis from Arnold (a few miles away) I’m sure some people organised this in advance but finding taxis on a Sunday to pick up and drop off is not convenient and expensive. No food and drink could be taken into the festival. Food choices were very limited (burgers and chips) with huge queues. Drinks were expensive and limited (only lager, no other beer, only fruit cider, no red wine, white and rose wine had run out by 4pm) We were told we could bring empty water bottles but could not find anywhere to fill them so queued to ask at the bar - kind barman gave me a bottle of water. Toilets as you would expect at a festival - queues and smelly. The atmosphere was good - families and groups out for a fun time. The area in front of the stage was too small for the number of people to spread out comfortably - most groups had chairs and picnic blankets so it was a real obstacle course moving about between bands. I hope the organisers will take note as it could have been so much better. The staff at the event were pleasant and helpful - just a pity that didn’t come across beforehand.

Over an hour wait for food which was terrible. Event ok, music ok, ran out of beer/ wine later on in the afternoon. Should let people take they're own food in as the queues were completely unacceptable!

I can only offer lowest ratings as I couldn’t get in due to no parking. Advised to drive 4 miles, park up, get a taxi to the site (more cost), then walk quite a way to the actual arena, only to do the opposite journey on the way home. For those like me who doesn’t walk too well that isn’t fair. The tickets WERE NOT sold with this info, in fact we were only given 24 hours notice. How do I get a refund Skiddle

No queues to get into the venue, easy access to drop off point. No queues for drinks which was great. Drinks prices were fair, but the food was a total rip off. We waited an hour and 10 minutes for 1 hotdog which was served to us in a cob as there were no bread rolls for the hotdog as they had run out (this was by 4pm!?) There were a lot of people in the queue who were more than annoyed with the wait times, especially those with kids. It was just me and my child who attended so I had no choice but to make my daughter stand with me for the whole time in the queue. Prices were way too high, £7 for a 'hot dog' and £5 for a small tray of chips! There was plenty of security around which was reassuring. There was a good number of portaloo's for the venue and queues for these were minimal. The acts were great on the main stage, very impressive and entertainment for all ages. The smaller area with a DJ separate to the main stage was wonderful as less busy if you wanted to get out of the crowd. Overall, we had a great time but the food and wait times really let it down. Maybe next time reduce the area for the drinks tent slightly and add in another food place (or 2)?

The bands who played were good tributes, that was the only positive.
The venue wasn’t good, the area was too small for the amount of people you couldn’t get to see because of unused chairs. And no speakers towards the back. I’m not sure if fleetwood mac even played. It was advertised as 12-10 but started at 2 we had to leave at 9:30 due to people smoking cannabis near us and making our little boy cough, at that point queen had only just come on so unless fleetwood had a very short set they didn’t even play, which was who we wanted to see.
The amount of people using drugs and smoking at a supposedly “family friendly” festival was ridiculous I’m surprised the police weren’t called. There should have been a smoking area enforced as children were forced to breathe in smoke from people smoking next to them not to mention drugs! This was everywhere as we moved multiple times and then more people would start smoking. People were having sex in the woods and a lady was assaulted as she came out the toilet by a drugged up girl.
The toilets were horrendous.
Parking was an issue, we had to plead to park with our son with disabilities and although they thankfully made room it was not a good start. Also we’d tried to be in touch in advance but no response to emails. Our friends who were meeting us couldn’t park so had to park ages away and have a taxi to and from the car making their trip expensive.
Food was extortionately priced, I’m unsure how that’s allowed given you weren’t allowed to take any food with you, forcing you to spend stupid money on awful unhygienic food or go home.
Terrible organisation and I would like a refund.

Unfortunately waiting for one and half hours for food put me off coming to this event again. No other ways to purchase and you were not allowed to take in. My friends had to walk a mile after the car park was full. These two points means I will not be going. Sad because the acts were great.

This event was so badly organised I'm amazed it actually went ahead. Minimum information available (the prospect of 'limited' parking with nothing else for miles almost put us off going), no option to bring our own food but only three basic food stalls with an hour long queue (yet a huge area was dedicated to the bar and looked mostly empty), nowhere to fill up reusable water bottles (the only thing we were allowed to bring in!) and the main area was far too small for the number of people allowed in. We only saw two acts but they were excellent. I hope the performers were looked after better than the audience were! I also want to praise the security staff who were by the stage during Abba. They were wonderful with my friend's two young daughters who were upset by a group of very drunk people who were pushing forwards and became threatening towards my friend when she asked them to stop. The security guys got us to a safe place and were so kind to the girls, making them smile again. I'll be amazed if this event goes ahead next year, but if it does I won't be going and would advise everyone to avoid it!

I thought this was really good value for money. Bands doing 45-60 min sets x 6, fab. Only issues we had were with food queues which could have been sorted using fast track lanes, for those only wanting burgers/hotdogs, if the waits were about chips? We waited 90 mins? Not good, given we weren't allowed to bring food into the venue. But otherwise yes we'd recommend

The list of acts were released on arrival, that was not helpful as the act we wanted to see was on last , and was too long a day to wait. I would have liked to be able to arrange the time of arrival according to artist time. Parking was horrendous not enough parking for the amount of people attending, which was in the middle of no where. Very long waiting times for food,.and you couldn't bring your own in. With children not good, expensive. Too many people to capacity, it was uncomfortable, we left early.

This event had the potential to be brilliant, but it fell far short. The music was great, but one of the key artists was missing which I believe was out of the organisers control. We arrived early and got parked easily. The car park attendants and security were all friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately the food situation was awful. We were promised 'plenty of street food', as we were not allowed to bring our own food in. This was far from reality, there was one stall selling chips, hot dogs or burgers, which were all overpriced and average quality. People waited up to 2 hours for food and missed a lot of the acts. You could buy crisps and muffins at the bar but they sold out before 5. This was advertised as a family event but it was not at all. My 1year old had nothing to eat, luckily I had food in the car and security let me back into the event, it said online readmission was not allowed. There was no stalls offering extras such as facepainting or merch, so the children were bored. Lack of sign posting meant we didn't even know there was a separate DJ area until the end of the night as the path was hidden behind the toilets.

The field was nice but it was not big enough for all the people there, was very crowded, and no paths were marked out so people kept on standing on our blanket to get through.

I am so disappointed with the organisation of this event and I will not be attending again

Sadly could not even get into the venue due to having a disabled child as a part of our party and no disabled parking available. Only other options would have been to get a taxi to the venue and then walk down the long path to the venue or walk along a 60mph road. Extremely disappointing, however from the reviews of others it appears it was a blessing we did not get in.
This could have been a lovely day out in Nottinghamshire but sadly did not meet the needs of the people who had been sold tickets.

Thought there was a very very long wait for the 1st act to come on after getting in there for 12:00 and the 1st act at 14:00 there were really long delays in between all acts which i thought was shocking. Think they lost the crowd after the long wait and it never really picked up not a good atmosphere at all and it wasn’t what you wanted in a cold afternoon. The food was ridiculous priced and not worth the prices at all my son waited over 2 hours for cheesy chips which was really not worth the wait. I would highly recommend not going to this unless they make big improvements.

We went on Sunday, 25th Sept.
We were told on the email, we could take empty bottles and get free water. There was no free water.
The drinks queues weren't too bad but they run out of white and some of the other drinks at 2pm and the venue didn't finish till 10pm.
The food queues were absolutely ridiculous. We were told there were plenty of food stalls but the only food available was only burger and chips as the rest had ran out. The queues were up to an hour and a half long, just crazy. People were queuing then leaving. Prices were also expensive if you did manage to get any food.
There needs to be more stock, you must have known how many people were going, more accessible food and drink stalls.
