Review of Cathedral of Comedy: David O\'Doherty
A difficult one because the Comedy was great. Of what I could hear. The acoustics in the cathedral weren’t great and there was a or of exho making it difficult to understand what people were saying. The comedians did try to counter this by holding the mic further away it or still wasn’t great
The venue was. Nice place to have it, an extra bar would have been food. The food was great
The only problem was the acoustics

Review of Cathedral of Comedy: David O\'Doherty
It was a great evening overall in an amazing venue. We realise it was the first of these events and there were some teething issues. Main issue was the sound from the mic wasn’t clear at times. Also, there was a long queue for the bar. Timings weren’t provided so we saw people leaving to get trains as it was very late by the time the headline act came on. The rows of chairs didn’t have much space in between so it was quite difficult to let people out of a row.

We were at the back of the Cathedral and the sound quality was extremely poor, we were unable to hear and understand the compère and most of the comedians. Whilst the actual venue was remarkable, I’d certainly not recommend the event, unless the production team completed a competent and thorough sound check. For us, it was a complete waste of time and money!!

All great fun & seemed to be well organised.
There were initial difficulties understanding/hearing the MC - but this was addressed & was fine later. All of the other acts were perfectly audible.
A great venue!

Review of Cathedral of Comedy: David O\'Doherty
the atmosphere was incredible we were greeted by the vicar first who encouraged everyone to laugh and have a great time. from then, the MC had amazing energy and charisma and did a fantastic job of bridging the gap between acts. amazing donuts. main act was absolutely hilarious, genuinely gave myself a headache from all the laughing.

Review of Cathedral of Comedy: David O\'Doherty
David O’Doherty was absolutely fantastic but sadly the sound for the whole of the short apart from when he was on was simply not audible. . It was so frustrating because it’s an amazing venue and I genuinely feel like asking for my money back. I genuinely couldn’t make out 2/3 of the act. This was a great pity as it seemed like the middle of the audience got here fine. I was going to buy tickets for The other comedians they have lined up but I need some reassurance that the sound quality would mean I could at least hear what they were saying

Loved the venue, fantastic idea!
The sound issue was mentioned many times, but we only had a problem hearing the compere, he seemed to talk too fast, no problems hearing anyone else.
We're booking for the next comedy gig today, best venue ever! Great to use the Cathedral for gigs, loved it!

This was a fantastic new experience that I absolutely loved! All of the comedians were amazing, the venue was simply beautiful and the food vendors were class! Can’t wait to go back.

Review of Cathedral of Comedy: David O\'Doherty
I thought I was paying to see David O'Doherty, but he was on stage for less than 30 minutes because there were 5 other acts, 2 breaks and a raffle before him. It was fine, but not what I wanted and I felt cheated. They should be clearer about what to expect, because all of the promotion makes it seem like you're seeing a solo show of the headliner.
Review of Cathedral of Comedy: David O\'Doherty
Great comedy night. David o'doherty was superb. The other acts were good too, particularly Jack Gleadow.
The venue is spectacular. Nice donut. It might be an idea to have to bars for the number of people in there. We sat at the side and struggled to hear some of the acts clearly early on but it was a minor detail.
