Review of Cathedral of Comedy: Phil Wang
Star backdrop made it hard to see comedians faces.
The stage was too low so was hard to see comedians near the back.
The sound was very echo-y and at times was difficult to make out what was being said.

Couldn’t hear at the back. Couldn’t the acts tell that people weren’t laughing towards the rear?
Try a soundcheck next time.
Use the existing PA system, the building has just been overhauled.
You’re a lovely guy Phil, we deserved better. X.

Review of Cathedral of Comedy: Phil Wang
It was comedy not music but I rated as if it said comedy. Great evening, good temperature, as things I've been to in other cathedeals have been too cold before. Important to consider for more winter events. Friendly, welcoming, enough drinks and snacks and facilities. Would go again

Review of Cathedral of Comedy: Phil Wang
The food vendors were great. I think the bar let the event a little as some of the drinks weren't chilled enough and adding ice to wine would ruin the drink. The price of the wine was also very steep for the quality of it. Tried both the white and rosé and neither were very good at £8 for a large glass.
The staff on the bars were brilliant though.
Overall thought the event was great and the compere was brilliant. Two intervals might be a bit much though. Little disappointing that the main comic was on for such a small amount of time given waiting so long for the headline act.
Loved Lauren and really liked her set was clever rather than the second act that just seemed to talk down about women in general to get a laugh. Not as keen on low brow comedy like that but realise some people will enjoy it.
Overall very good and would return for another good headliner.

Review of Cathedral of Comedy: Phil Wang
I thought the venue was beautiful but very cold. It would have been better if you could have bought a coffee to warm up after waiting outside in the cold. The detail on timings before the event were sketchy. It was drawn out too long and there was no need for a second interval. Finishing so late made it really late travelling home on my own which I would not have done had I been aware of the timings.

I thought everything about it was just great! I really love this venue. The act were comedians so can't comment on music acoustics but would want to go to any events there. More variety of food would be good.

Review of Cathedral of Comedy: Phil Wang
A really well run event. Drinks and food prices were very reasonable as it’s usually a Rio-off for a captive audience but not here. Good atmosphere, none of the background chat that sometimes permeates comedy gigs now. Great acts with Phil Wang topping off the night in his usual great style.
Will be keeping an eye on future events.
