Review of Cathedral of Comedy: Larry Dean
Feel robbed - tickets were bought to Larry Dean! Ended up the majority of the evening watching comedians I would never have paid to see. Larry dean came on for 30 mins at the most - felt like Larry’s name was just used to sell tickets, at no time during the purchase or advertising was it mentioned that it wasn’t a full show.. Show started late with no communication. Sat for 1 and half hours until anything happened. All seemed a bit amateurish and badly managed. Staff were great from the welcome to going to the bar.

Skiddle a major issue. If a refund needed, extremely and unnecesarily onerous, that is a hefty cancellation fee so you should accept customers word. Unhelpful that email not good enough as a ticket. Venue opened late, and cold, people should not have to wait for ages outside.

Loved the venue. Some of the acoustics were a bit tricky, but worth it. Didnât understand the screens (would have been helpful if theyâd zoomed in). Why did you keep playing the same songs on a loop during each break??? A bit mind-numbing.

Review of Cathedral of Comedy: Phil Wang
Amazing night of fun in a beautiful, iconic building in the heart of our wonderful city. Thoroughly recommended but those easily offended by the irreverence may want to stay away!

Really enjoyed the event, drinks prices were a little steep but to be expected at these kind of things. Venue made it a unique experience and it was a good atmosphere. The only downside was the stage was quite low and if you were further back it made it hard to see properly. The sound was quite echoey further back and if anyone spoke too fast it made it very hard to understand them. Would definitely go again but get there early for the best seats
