Review of Follakzoid
Great show, with a pretty decent support to boot (take a bow, Bonnacons of Doom). Föllakzoid do mesmeric drone-rock, weaving complex rhythms from seemingly basic ingredients. Good enough on record, the live set is eye-popping. Recommended

Review of Vinyl Junkie Presents : The Mono LPs
Great set by the Mono LPs. Again would have like them to do a longer set. Venue decent and acoustics really good. Only a small crowd though and might be a bit uncomfortable if full.
Liked the other bands as well.

Review of Jesca Hoop at Magnet, Liverpool
Excellent show by Jesca Hoop and her band (sorry, Jesca never introduced them) at The Magnet! Stunning vocals and completely different to the Jesca Hoop/Sam Beam (Iron & Wine) concert I saw last year! Fun banter with the crowd too for the adopted Mancunian singer/songwriter! Come back to Liverpool soon!
