No vip area , I had purchased vip tickets,
The music was awful only one bar which was very highly priced , no rum no cider and only small cans of warm lager , only had 2 drinks and left absolutely shocking

This was a classic example of something that should have been brilliant, but was poorly thought out and set up! walked into a stunning venue 45 minutes late as "they were still setting up" at the advertised opening times, badly directed outside as well, alot of rude staff and no signs indicating where the entrance to the event was. When we eventually got in( someone wrote a "G" in felt tip on your hand tonindicTe you were clear!!) the DJ was full on rave mode like it was Ibiza, which it clearly was not. The Hall was a stunning venue but 6 -8 fold out tables and 1970s Chairs scattered about with Drinks "menus " on them and a make shift bar at the back. Around the room stuck up paper signs for toilets, looked like a s**t school disco. The "gin" element was clearly thought up by a non gin drinker, no specialist gins, plain Gordon's or Whiteley Neil, and a choice of 5??? not really what you would expect for a " specialist" Gin event! and to the BEST bit, all served in plastic pint pots! no Coppa glasses even if sat down. At £25 average this was a shocking disappointment
Not enough toilets , no idea if the shapeshifters or Micheal Gray came on as the music sounded identical songs from the moment we walked until the moment we left (Early) when we went to Brown's for actually proper drinks. The one nice touch was 2 lovely girls doing glitter art..they were fab. The bar staff were inexperienced, and rushed off their feet, but as I said the make shift bar was terrible, my local village hall has a bigger selection. Avoid this event, total waste of money and pick the actual Gin festival here which is brilliant!!

Absolutely awful. 8 tables to sit 6 people. Nowhere to pub your drinks. Base on the music was way to high. The chairs could have moved themselves! 1/2 hour wait to get in. I don’t know what they were getting ready as it was so basic. I’ve been to do many better organised events. No thought other than profit put into this one.

It had huge potential to be brilliant but was a bit of a let down … long queues at the one bar … prices quite high for basic drinks in plastic cups.. the atmosphere was good to begin but fizzled out quickly

We left, didn’t stay for the main dj’s even though we had been excited about it for weeks

Very disappointed, this was billed as gin and disco, there was gin but the only thing disco were the 3 glitter balls and two people who turned up matching gold sequinned outfits.
