Boss new plays make it possible for writers to see their work come to life and to experience how it’s received by an audience. Thank you for that. Playtime was dark and challenging. It was difficult to watch and impossible not to watch at the same time. The actors gave of their best and the audience were engaged right until the end. It was definitely time for a drink afterwards.

The 3 x short plays were well written and very well acted. bar staff good.
The venue was very hot as no direct ventilation for audiences and actors.

A small, friendly, intimate venue (81 Renshaw Street), meaning you're close to the action (this was a 'scratch night', with performances of short plays / extracts of work in progress).

Unraked seating does mean sightlines are occasionally tricky.

A magnificent evening. Limerence in support were a duo with beautiful heartfelt harmonies worth the entrance fee alone. Seafoam Green on top form with their electric Americana. Go see them soon if you get the chance, at £9 can't imagine ticket prices will stay this cheap for long. Would advise getting to 81 Renshaw Street early for sold out gigs to ensure a good spec.
