It was FANTASTIC . I have been to 3 previous Oktoberfests in Leeds and was a little disappointed initially with the venue last night . It was smaller and open to the elements at one side . However ,once the music started it was wonderful !

Barely any food available & drinks choices were poor. Booked 2 tables back to back for me and the girls and we left after 2 hours. Music far too loud for that time in an afternoon & absolutely no atmosphere

It’s not what it use to be. Only two food venders, small menus. Food average and over priced. Paid £8 for a tea cake with hallomi in it.
The table was free this weekend otherwise I’d have been completely ripped off.

Been to Chow Down many times and really love it. Last night we had a table booked at 19:30. Food options were limited and by around 8pm we were unable to order food via the app, so went elsewhere, which was a shame

Booked a large table for my birthday. It was the last weekend before Octoberfest so didn't expect it to be that busy but it was in fact dead. There was no atmosphere. On arrival the woman at the front desk wasn't very helpful and basically said 'I'll let you find your own table' . There were 2 veggies and 2 vegans in our group but when we arrived (8.15pm) there were no options for them. We went up to speak to the sellers and they said they had run out. My friend then went up to ask if we could just order chips but they said they couldn't deviate from the menu - which was just 3 burgers with chips... The other food place had nothing to offer us either.
We asked to speak to the management as on the website it clearly states there will always be vegan, veggie and gluten free options and the lady was helpful and managed to get the sellers to add chips with chilli beans and cheese (vegan option and veggie option) but that was all we could eat. It was a shame because we spent a good portion of the night walking around trying to sort food options out and chase down people to speak to and then waiting for our food orders. Wouldn't go back and felt bad as I organised it for my birthday and was kinda let down by the venue and felt bad for making everyone wait so long to eat.

We were looking forward to going but unfortunately it was really quiet, with hardly anyone there so we left without eating or drinking. We just picked the wrong weekend maybe?

What a great place. The Drag Brunch and queens were fantastic and our host the dj kept us entertained. Staff and venue were fab. Can’t wait to come back.
