Review of Chow Down - 14th August
Food is a total rip off.
Service is clunky and disorganised. Slow and unapologetic. Needs refining because its a great set up they're skimping on staff and the app system is s**t.

Review of Chow Down - 14th August
We came on a Sunday thinking it would be a family day but actually it was just like every other day there. The music was way too loud for small babies and children. The service was extreme slow. We saw other people leave due to the wait. We were waiting for drinks for over 45mins. The food was totally over priced as we had the pizza at £8 a slice but it was the tiniest portion so not worth it at all. Will not be recommending family Sundays to the rest of my friends with children as it does not cater for them at all. Really disappointed.

Review of Chow Down - 13th August
We arrived at Chow Down for our booking at 19:30 on a Saturday night and the atmosphere wasn’t there as it had been on previous visits.
All of the vendors had run out of food forcing us to ask for a refund and leave to find somewhere else.
If I was to go again, I would book a lot earlier to avoid disappointment.

Been to chow down
Many times and loved Everyone of them
I thought yesterdays was a bit different they sat us at the back and the entertainment stayed at the front most of the time
So couldn’t see half half of it

Review of Chow Down - 7th August
Tickets should not have been sold for 6.30 - 8.30. Everything shut around us, many of our party did not have any food, we were not advised that the food venues would shut at 7.30 or before and that last drink orders were 7.45. There was also very limited drink choices.

Review of Chow Down - 5th August
I booked tickets for the disco event on the 5th of august. but at no point did you advertise that this started at a certain time! We had a table booked from 4:30-7:30pm and it was dead!! We left early as it was just a dj playing disco songs. Food & drinks where nice and we booked to play mini golf if we didn’t we would have left sooner. It was a shame to see later on your instagrams posts that the disco event actually started about 9ish. If we had known this I’d of booked tickets for then not as early as I did. Next time please state what time your events start. As I have wasted £55 on a booking for a event that wasn’t even on.

Review of Chow Down - 5th August
Booked the classic decks session, drinks can’t have had alcohol in them as we bought 4 jugs of pimms (£100 for 2 people) & was not even tipsy, we’re not big drinkers but would have expected to feel a little drunk. The session with classic decks was only on for 45mins, which wasn’t worth the £16 entry fee.
You could only pay by card but after 3 payments their system wouldn’t let you pay again. (We called our bank thinking we needed to insert the card into a machine to reset it or something but the bank advised everything was fine from their end & the issue was with the venue) not helpful when you pay for things with your phone these days.
The food was nice but not much steak with the chips however was tasty. I will not be going back, which is a shame.

Review of Chow Down - 5th August
We paid £67 for a table for 4 to arrive at 8.15. No one when we arrived let us know that all the food vendors stopped serving at 9.30.
The music we had paid to see was about 45 minutes. It finished at just before 9.30 and so we tried to order food to be told they were all finished. A lot of money for essentially 45 minutes of music. We won't be returning.
