Review of Look Good Live - The Biggest Beauty and Christmas Shopping Event
Was disappointed as this was an event for the public yet it was almost treated as a trade show. The talks and demos weren’t suitable for someone like myself who was there to find out more about health and beauty as I am wanting to become better at doing my own make up. They were aimed towards people wanting to get in to being MUAs etc. There was a lot of hard selling and the only demo I was going to watch was one of the MUAs doing ‘cyborg’ type make up in a time limit. We went to the demo stage and the person there didn’t do a demo, just spoke about them starting their business. It was mentioned about Black Friday deals but everything was very expensive. And at 3pm majority of people were packing away their stalls, some looked like they didn’t even show for Sunday’s event. I know you can’t please everyone but I was led to believe this was going to be better than it ended up being and came away with no make up tips like I hoped but was pushed in to buying something I don’t even want.

was very disappointed with what was on offer, some of top brands like Elmis and Liz Earle have better offers. One particular store who did aesthetics booked me in for a peel treatment, and when I went back at my appointment time they said they had no more gloves (which I thought was a RUBBISH excuse). Will not attend again waste of time, petrol and day:(

glad i got my tickets with 50% off, was not much there a lot of the same stuff being sold. Not much demos and interaction between customers and sellers. was a let down wouldn’t go back.

Fab girly day . Loved the body painting tutorial, would love to see more make up tutorials next time . Prices were a-bit exaggerated. Felt I would of spent more if prices were realistic e.g food and surprise bags you could purchase .Great atmosphere loved the music and the guy on the saxophone. The selfie area was awesome . Need more stores of things to buy e.g clothes and bags and shoes . Chock -box brownies were to die for !!!!
