Review of Coombe Weekender
The event was badly organised to the point of being shambolic , 2 hour delay in opening meant 3 bands cancelled ! Acts who did perform were brilliant tbf . But at the end of day one no security staff seemed to know where to catch the shuttle bus or find a taxi people were wandering about in the pitch dark for ages surprised there wasn’t an accident. Drinks were over priced & warm ,£5.50 for a warm can cider , the bars simply had cans on shelves not refrigerated. Food was nice enough but ridiculously overpriced . Given the size of Coombe abbey the site used for the actual festival was way too small , and not even toilets provided for the 8K + who were there . Won’t go next year !!

Review of Coombe Weekender
Shuttle buses were a great idea & security staff were great!
We left early due to the ridiculous expensive drinks & food. We had burger/few chips at £10 each and it was just awful. £2.50 for a bottle of water. There were no stalls or anything to do other than sit on the grass. It needs to be a lot bigger, with more things to do & see.

Review of Coombe Weekender
VIP tickets were £80 each and I bought 4. We honestly felt like we had less than the people that had spent less on tickets. Penned in to an area not big enough for the amount of tickets sold. No seating -
Well 12 lucky people for a seat and them didn’t budge. Ques at bar. Warm drinks. Ques at toilets. Whoever decided that was VIP I don’t know?

Review of Coombe Weekender
It was shaky start with the delay and we had queued early to see the first band. However, thought the whole day was fab the bands who played were amazing , got the crowd going. Then with libertines headlong what more could you ask for come .... the libertines playing in Cov local park absolute legends. They really rocked it. Couldn’t have asked for a better line up.
I would also like to thank the fantastic medical team behind the scenes who dealt with my very nasty wasp sting in seconds - they were so professional and reassured me as my hand had really swollen up - one injection later I was back in the crowd - went back an hour later as instructed to check on it and was all good.
Only downside price of drinks and lack of variety of beer serving very strong red stripe and cider recipe for disaster.
I do hope there will b a coombe Abby Weekender again next year we have so few live open air venues in our part of the midlands

Review of Coombe Weekender
Couldn't believe the food and drink prices they were absolutely shocking. I think£6.00 for cheesy chips is ridiculous. The best part about the day was the free bus which was very well organised. The bands were great but the big top tent playing mainly dance music sounded like it had the same tune on a loop for hours it needed a bit more variety sound quality was good though
