Review of Wild on the Wall - Music Festival by Roman wall
The music was OK. about what I expected from mainly local bands. The drinks, supposedly friendly prices were extortionate but I could have put up with that.
What irked me the most was the inadequate toilet facilities. By Sunday morning they were all nearly overflowing. Extremely unhygienic. Could have done with double the amount of portaloos.
Also the only drinking water was supplied in large quantities of plastic bottles - in this day and age...c'mon......

Ok, so it's not Glastonbury but for families on a tight budget that want a safe and secure festival with a warm atmosphere surrounded by gorgeous scenery and hosted by brilliant friendly staff, this is the festival to go to.
Having travelled from West Yorkshire, we knew very little of the festival or the acts on, but by the end of it we went away with brilliant exposure of the grassroots acts in the North of England.
We will be back in 2022, and we are bringing friends.

Excellent family weekend. We (2 mums & 3 kids aged 11-15) had a brilliant time. Camped even though weather wasn’t great. Plenty to keep us entertained & food prices at the local business vans were very reasonable. Only draw back was there was no food after 6pm Saturday night. Luckily we had brought some provisions with us that stopped a pre teen going into hangry mode! . Nice, friendly atmosphere & excellent, friendly and very accommodating staff. Brilliant local music which was a pleasure to support. High lights - Chris Jagger & doing the escape room, low lights - absolutely nothing. Not even the weather could dampen our spirits : )

Really enjoyed this first occurence of Wild on the Wall.
2 stages were managed perfectly so that there was always someone playing and not conflicting with the other stage. The range of music was great.
Every thing had been thought of- plenty of shelter from the elements, a range to food to suit all tastes and at reasonable prices, a wide range of soft and alcoholic drinks. Lighting rig so that navigating the field and the portaloos was still fine at night. Adequate loos so they stay hygienic and loo roll being replenished. Ice cream van!!
There were only 2 downsides for me- 1) the constant noiseof diesel generators for 2 mainly empty bouncy castles and 2) the amount of litter despite plenty of bins on site- this is not the fault of the organisers who were frequently seen emptying bins and doing litter picks. Just a shame that people cannot be bothered to move a few meters to use a bin.
Will be looking out for next year's announcement
