An independent bar in a grade 2 listed building serving 8 beers on draft/tap, 80+ spirits, quality wines, coffee & teas in a unique setting.

The Grayston Unity is a new independent bar. It's in a building that dates back to the 1860s (originally opened as a County Court). The bar itself is in a bit that used to be for carriages to enter. A Wesleyian Chapel built in the 18th Century sat on the adjoining (private) car park until the 1950s.
It's 5 yards from the steps to the Town Hall and is one of the most historic parts of Halifax & just across from the cinema.
We have 8 beers on draft or tap, 80+ spirits including around 25 gins, quality wine, tea and coffee. Tuesday is our events night with music, our Grayston Voices night of guest speakers and the occasional bit of theatre in the back room too. Our lazy Sunday's include free tea and coffee, ale of the day £2.50 pint, selected wine £10 a bottle, free papers (till 5pm). The bar is also available for private rents on Monday evenings and Monday to Thursday daytime.
