The Bike Shed Theatre venue information

The Bike Shed Theatre was opened in February 2010. It is a 50 seat theatre with a cosy retro bar. Dedicated to producing new writing and programming quality and innovative work, it was initially opened as a temporary space for Particular Theatre Company's production The Distance, a new play by Craig Norman. The Bike Shed Theatre has since been given a longer lease of life and will remain open on a trial basis until the end of June 2010.

Resident company, Particular, will produce another two new plays from South West writers in these four months. Next up is Still, by Steve Lambert which will be followed by Beanfield by Shaun McCarthy.

Also coming up are productions of Strindberg's Miss Julie and Philip Pullman's Clockwork, as well as live music, comedy and many things in between.
