June is here! As summer slowly creeps in, regardless of whether or not the weather holds up, we’re all getting into that summery mood. We’re ready for barbecues, pints, letting go and, more importantly, checking out some June festivals!
While many wait for later in the year to check out some festivals, we believe waiting is for the weak. There are so many cracking festivals in June that we know will be killer. If you can handle June festivals, here are the ones we genuinely can't wait for.

When: Friday 17th - Sunday 19th June 2022
Where: Praia Da Rocha, Portimao, Portugal
Sun, sea, sangria, and sexy tunes - Secret Project Festival might be the champion of all June festivals this year. The lineup for this year is looking absolutely unreal, with some huge names set to perform. On the bill, we've got Amelie Lens, Maceo Plex, Charlotte De Witte, Tale Of Us, Hot Since 82, Eric Prydz, Shy FX, and so many other artists we know will smash it. Count us in!

Where: Heaton Park, Manchester, England
As one of Manchester’s biggest June festivals, it's a miracle Parklife has tickets left. With lots of huge names, including Tyler, the Creator, Chase & Status, Megan Thee Stallion, Bicep, Peggy Gou, Central Cee, Solardo, 50 Cent, Arlo Parks, Amelie Lens, and so many more, Parklife will be one of the best festivals in June, with Heaton Park on fire! There’s always a mad crowd, it’s always a proper laugh, and we’re counting down the days!

When: Friday 3rd - Saturday 4th June 2022
Where: Titanic Slipways, Belfast, Northern Ireland
It’s not every day that a festival pops up in Belfast, but when it happens, the lineup’s killer. At least that’s the case with AVA. Belfast natives Bicep are set to headline. They'll be performing alongside Mura Masa, Jon Hopkins, Ross From Friends, and more for a hectic celebration of banging tunes, everflowing drinks and the four day weekend. AVA effortlessly stands out from the other June festivals.

Where: Donington Park, Derby, England
One of the world’s biggest metal fests is set to land back in Donnington Park for a weekend of carnage. This year's lineup features legends such as Iron Maiden, Kiss, Deftones, Biffy Clyro, Korn, Megadeth, The Pretty Reckless, and so many others ranging from rock to death metal. The biggest of all metal festivals going down in June, Download is somewhat of a metal mecca.

Where: Parque Da Bela Vista, Lisbon, Portugal
If you fancy a June festival with a decent chance of good weather, Rock in Rio in Portugal has a range of artists set to hit the stage in the gorgeous, sunny city of Lisbon. You can expect Muse, Black Eyed Peas, Ellie Goulding, Liam Gallagher, Duran Duran, A-Ha, Post Malone, and more. As the sun's warmth wraps around you as you sip a pint while watching some of the world's best live performers, you’ll realise this is what life’s all about.

Where: Henry Maier Festival Park, Milwaukee, United States
With an eclectic lineup featuring everything from pop to hip hop to country to metal, Summerfest is one of the biggest music festivals in the world (and likely the biggest festival in June). And if there's a fest with something for everyone, it's this one. Festivalgoers can look forward to Lamb of God, Justin Bieber, Wu-Tang Clan, Avril Lavigne, Thomas Rhett, Charli XCX, Modest Mouse, Halestorm, Willow, and dozens more. It’s the perfect place to discover new tunes and embrace a different culture!

Where: Parc Del Forum, Barcelona, Spain
We doubt you need much of an introduction to Primavera, it’s a legendary festival that most will have heard of. But just look at that lineup! This is another of the June festivals that’ll please everyone with performances from the biggest artists. There’s indie pioneers The Strokes, experimental hip hop icon Tyler, the Creator, experimental rock legend Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, all the DJs your heart desires, and about a million other artists we’d love to dive into. But we need to move on to the other June festivals we can’t wait for…

Where: Baltic Triangle, Liverpool, England
But if you aren’t feeling like leaving the country, there are plenty at home that are brilliant, too. Baltic Weekender is one of our favourite June festivals, and it’s back in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. This year you can expect Ben UFO, Helena Hauff, Ross From Friends, DJ Seinfeld, Hunee, Skepsis, Dowd, and more. It always goes down a treat, and this year will be no different. And if you're not ready for the party to finish, there are After Dark after parties waiting for you to tear them up too.

Where: Old Park Farm Margam, Port Talbot, Wales
In It Together bring a range of artists from across rock, indie, pop, electronic, soul, and other genres, creating a mighty, diverse lineup. Our only word of warning is that you might struggle to choose who to see. Expect Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Clean Bandit, Tinie Tempah, Soul II Soul, Armand Van Helden, Hybrid Minds, Marley Experience, Jamie Webster and more at In It Together, one of the best festivals in June.
