Goodgreef bring the return of legendary North East trance night Promise with an evening guaranteed to raise the roof.

There’s something deeply soothing about the classics night in clubland. An event where you know the music on offer is going to hit that guaranteed spot, where’s there’s no focus on being edgy or upfront, just reminiscing about a certain point in time. When you combine that with an event sadly gone from the clubbing terrain then you intensify the appeal even more, and Goodgreef’s latest jaunt to the North East delivers on both counts.
They will be putting together a reunion for the gone but not forgotten clubnight Promise, with the legendary DJ form that event Richard Tulip playing a vinyl only set which will raid all the classics from the era. If that wasn’t enough two other DJs behind the trance appeal of another Northern clubbing behemoth, Gatecrasher, will be playing.
They are Scott Bond and Matt Hardwick, the latter coming out of retirement to dust off his old record box and trawl through the classic sound of the period. Expect all the anthems that defined the clubnight to make an appearance, including this rather natty number from the legendary PUSH.
