Two romantic proposals took place on the first day of Glastonbury festival at Worthy Farm.
Ben Keating from Liverpool surprised his now fiancée Beth Ryan when he led her to an area where friends held up letters spelling out "Marry me Princess".
When she said yes, the couple were lifted onto their friends' shoulders whilst a nearby brass band played as the crowd celebrated.
Earlier in the day Mark Goddard, 43, took Jane Shannon, 45, to the top of the iconic Ribbon Tower to propose to her, despite her fear of heights.
As the pair reached the top, friends unfurled a huge sign which read 'Jane I love u. Will u marry me xx'. Mark created the 11-metre banner at a friend's garage last week instead of going to work.
According to our recent festival habits survey, one in ten people know someone who has got married at a festival.
