York Astronomical Society venue information

Our observatory is located at Beetle Bank Farm on the outskirts of York. It consists of two converted shipping containers, with a sliding roof and raised deck and two large telescopes. There is limited disabled access to the viewing deck via a stairlift. There is a room used for storage of equipment and another for multimedia presentations. At official events there is access to the cafe and toilets at Beetle Bank Farm.
