Bands were excellent , but sound was a bit ropey at times , seemed to bit bouncing off stands
Dont think fairground attractions were necessary
Drinks were extortionate!
Was expecting gnr to be the best but nirvana blew me away !

Great idea, it was just a bit, errr bitty. no cider, sound not great, nice location, burgers or burgers was the choice of food. we will probably go again as its a great idea that needs to be supported.

Excellent day very well organised we throughly enjoyed it. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the event and sincerely hope this was the first of many.
Side attractions were good and nothing was over priced. £2 token to ride the mechanical bull (bargain)

Really enjoyed the lineup at this festival - it was on the whole well organized and the bands were all pretty good as their chosen tributes, and sound quality was good too. The atmosphere would have benefitted from being better supported on the day with a few more in the audience, but those who were there were friendly and a good time was had by all I'd say. Also, the weather was good! Only downside the bar staff - the racecourse bar staff were not the best - running out of beer and cider on tap as they claimed they didn't know how to change the beer pump barrels (FFS!) - a bigger audience might well have seen them out of booze by late afternoon! Overall enjoyed it, and we'd go again.

I think the event was good but put together at too short a notice hence why only about 250 of a 1000 there who were scattered about but in all it was a good day

Our first time at Soul Sesions Kempton park, great music, crowd and atmosphere but drink prices were way too expensive

My first time at Kempton and oh what a night. Had a fab time the music was awesome, met up with some old friends had a brill night all round.

Spirit of Ibiza, back to 89 - 95

Great nostalgic night. Venue full of hard core, old skool, die hard revellers. Great music although shame about repetition of some songs whilst other great tunes from that era didnt get played. Bar staff slow and inexperienced and ran out of drinks by 1am. Also, poor range of drinks on offer. Apart from that, awesome :-D when is the next event?
