Review of Boom Battle Bar
I loved Boom Battle Bar! Great selection of drinks at affordable prices! I had a fantastic server called Abi, she was friendly, personable and efficient. The selection of games were great. We tried shuffleboard and electric darts and both were great fun. I can’t wait to go back, I intend to this weekend :)

Review of Live Lounge Sessions: All Hallows Fest
Hardly anyone showed (I got my free ticket on the day of the event and they were only giving away 50). Music wasn’t exactly pop/rock covers and a DJ, rather than one man and his guitar playing Oasis and then some guy with a saxophone - not very spooky for a Halloween event.
Also bar service needs to improve, the first time I went it was blamed on people not showing up for work, this time it wasn’t even busy and still took ages.

Review of Boom Battle Bar, Street Food Sessions
We had a very poor experience at the Street Food Sessions.
There weren't enough staff and the staff that were there didn't know what they were doing. You have to order using the Boom app yet there is no signal in the venue so we had to join the wifi and the staff didn't know the password. There was no explanation of any of the items on the menu, just the name so we did not know what some things were. It took forever to be served at the bar and the bartender didn't know where any of the drinks were or how they were made (simple things like gin and tonic) and she seemed to have an attitude when asked questions. The waitstaff repeatedly brought the wrong food to the table (even though they're numbered and we had to enter this when ordering) yet we didn't get our complete order. We had to find a manager (which proved very difficult) and explain to the chef what we had ordered. It took over an hour to get everything we ordered.
The DJ did not add anything to the experience, the music was very loud and sounded like a Spotify playlist. The venue lights kept going up and down throughout the evening.
The food, when it arrived, was very good but we cannot recommend the venue or the event and are making an official complaint. It's a real shame as we were excited to see a new venue opening in the town, especially one as unique as Boom Battle Bar.

Review of Boom Battle Bar, Street Food Sessions
We were overcharged for drinks, could not be served from the paid for table side of the bar, could not order or pay for food other than all by phone and fewer food options than implied. Was intending to spend the evening there and left after 1 drink. Thought we would suss out what activities we would try next visit-did not get that far...

Review of Jongleurs Comedy Night
The compare Kane brown was amazingly funny every time he came on, could’ve watched him all evening. The other 3 comedians I will be honest were hit and miss. The venue is great, the bar staff worked their socks off even though there was problems with contactless and wi fi. Food was good and atmosphere was good. Yes I’d definitely attend again, but to see different comedians as like I said the others were hit and miss

Review of Jongleurs Comedy Night
The venue had problems with their speakers and only the people in the first few rows could hear clearly. The comedians were excellent and with the promise from the Boom bar that their teething problems (only been open 6 days) will be resolved we will definitely be attending the next Jongleurs. Excellent value for money

Review of Boom Battle Bar Presents: The Greatest Show Ever
Sat near the back, couldn’t order food or drink on the app - not so bad but bar queues took a while , the real problem was the sound system I think , we couldn’t hear the announcer / acts at all .. muffled and unclear , we did tell a member of staff at the time but not sure they were able to do much! In our experience wasn’t worth the £ unfortunately, really great place with potential… also the show was much shorter than the advertised times too…
