Poor venue with limited seating even though we arrived half an hour early . Very poor pa sound system. Marts Brewroom was fine with excellent beer very well priced but not an ideal venue for this type of event !

We had really been looking forward to this and we were disappointed, Not in Rick Buckler but the venue Marts Brewhouse and Tap in Hanley . We arrived and waited a good 10 mins to be served then to be told it was taking place upstairs, there was very limited seating so a lot if people standing there was a choice of four beers anything else u had to go back down stairs and que. Rick Buckler started talking and us at the back couldn’t see or hear anything 40mins of trying to turn the volume up bar staff chatting and a very noisy creaking toilet door which customers downs stairs were coming up to use. People that couldn’t hear were now talking amongst themselves or leaving the venue. When the volume was eventually rectified it was slightly better and we stuck it out for an hour as we didn’t hear any of the first 40 mins, very poor set up for £56 for two tickets left disappointed

the venue was not suitable at all as there was very little seating and there for every one had to stand there for the view was impossible made worse by having a column in the middle of the room . the p.a system was inadequate as people from half way to the back of the room could not hear .. the door leading from the bar downstairs was so noisy when being opened making it even harder to hear and was often being used as the toilets were upstairs and people were going down for drinks . many people left within the first hour including myself . this was great let down as I had been looking forward to this event .

Our night was ruined by greedy people filling a room with to many people not enough chairs inadequate sound system,as soon as the event started the door was left so anyone could enter for free After we had paid£14.we left after 10 minutes and we'd like our money back
