I thoroughly enjoyed the Harry Potter event and thought that there were some very goods stalls selling lovely merchandise. I didn't feel like there was a lot to do though and we only stayed for about an hour (we had gone round the stalls quite a few times). However for £10 I thought it wad a really good admission price for what was there. I also liked that there were actors from the films as that it more authentic and didn't make it feel like it was just a place that was selling Harry Potter stuff. Overall it was a really good day.

What an amazing day xx great time had by all of our group. Very well organised. Lovely friendly stall holders with very reasonable prices. The film stars were taking time to chat to everyone and were happy to pose for pictures . Great event. Hope you do it again. Thank you to all of the organisers

Loved it! I was prepared to pay out extra for things once in there! Lovely set up. Lots to do. And buy! Game of thrones or walking dead next???? Please!!

Basically you're paying to go to an expo. Expect to part with lots of cash, wand fights that don't happen due to poor organisation and an over rated owl display. No offense to the owls, the whole event was poorly organised and a complete rip off.

Good event but would like to have seen more stalls with more variety , a lot of the same things being sold some quite poor quality , organisers were helpful and lovely to speak to

I had a lovely time at the event, especially meeting the stars from the Movies and getting some great photos and signed pics. It would have been nice if there was more going on like talks and interactive things to do. I know some were scheduled but the hour and a half that we were there nothing was happening and in all honesty that amount of time was more than enough to do the meet and greets and look around the stalls. Don't get me wrong , I had a brilliant time and want to thank you very much for putting the event on. P.S I CAN'T BELIEVE I MET PERCY 😃😃😃😃.

To large venue for just stands selling merchandise. Not even all potter related. Very little in the way of interactive/things to do. Little and unorganized photo opportunities. Nothing really to see.

Our tickets were for the 10am slot and we were very disappointed to find out that none of the programmed event (which were displayed on a small piece of paper at the entrance) did not start until 1pm. we found that there was not a lot to keep us busy for the full morning as it was more like a glorified market. There were a few actors there giving autographs but at a cost of £10 each for the basic autograph this would have been at a cost of an extra £60 on top of the ticket price. Also the only opportunity to have photo's taken with them was professional photo's at a cost of £20 each. We left to find lunch in buxton an returned at 1pm for the events only to find that the door was not manned and people were just walking in without paying even though we were issued with wrist bands to show that people had paid. After missing the first event at 1pm because there was very little signage of where to go we then found people that had not paid for the even.t being allowed access into the talks and quizzes. We left soon after very disappointing and annoyed that we had paid for tickets and others hadn't. My daughter was very dissapointed with a day she had been looking forward to for a long time.

Mostly stalls I was expecting more props & interactive, actors were fairly interesting but very not very well known.
Thought £10 per person was expensive as it was mostly stalls.

My son and his friend said that the Harry Potter event was ''utterly amazing''... they also said that it's one of the best events they've ever been to... which is some praise as they've been to a lot of events.

Grandchildren excited by attending but disappointed with it all. Owls were good and they enjoyed hiding in the suitcase but some side events didn't happen -e.g. The wand fight didn't take place because no one had signed up , but there was nothing to tell attendees to sign up ! Overall a big disappointment as the whole event then became a forum for the sale of overpriced memorabilia, often of poor quality. Thank goodness for reasonably priced Lego figures and the brilliant Hogwarts castle built by a 13year old!

I had brought four very excited children with me yesterday but all felt we had been a little disappointed.
We felt it was more of a Harry potter car boot sale more than anything magical, maybe a few talks or interactive things would have been more fun.
The fact I had paid £10 per adult and £6 per child (there were 6 of us), this event was not
value for money, in fact I feel pretty robbed. We had covered the whole venue by 11 am so we thought we would go for some lunch then come back and see the Wand Battle which was meant to happen at 1pm. We waited until 1.45 when eventually I went to check with one of the crew who mentioned that it was an additional cost which was not mentioned when we walked in first thing in the morning and that it had to be pre-booked, so I had too very disappointed boys.. I was also then told, due to the mix up it will be happening for free but at 2.30pm.
Overall we were very disappointed with the event. I wish I had saved the money and taken them to the studios instead.
